So I'm playing around with numbers (again) and am looking at PPH concierge. My question, is food out at all times? I'd love to think we could grab a quickie breakfast/snack before going into the parks even for MM and late at night. I'm thinking I could sell DH on this option if we weren't paying for food, though I know it's much more expense. What he doesn't know won't hurt him :rotfl: As usual, thanks for your help!

We did this for 3 days last year and we didn't spend an extra penny on food the entire time we were there. Having said that, i probably won't do it again unless I become wealthy or I would do it only for a couple of days because I actually love eating at DL.

We are a family of 5 so it was a real convenience and savings for us. We had breakfast and then grabbed snacks to eat at the park as lunch (drinks, uncrustables, fruit, crackers etc). We also came back for the wine and appy reception from 5-7 and there was enough food to qualify as dinner, plus you could have as much beer and wine as you wished. There was always a different hot appy every day, veggies and fruit, desserts.

If you like to eat at the parks, then its not really cost saving. It depends how large your family is and what your plans are.

when Sherry E pops in here she may be able to link you to the thread i started in regards to concierge for all 3 hotel. it includes pictures of the offerings to help you make your choice. if i find it i'll post it but im not good at the searches.. but if you get a good rate i say try it.. but if you plan to be in the parks all day and wont be able to take advantage of the evening offerings then.. im not so sure..

hmm the search was not as hard as i thought lets see if this works. ..

This will be our third year in a row staying CL at PPH, we have enjoyed it. We always like to have some afternoon or evening snacks and like to keep drinks in the room fridge. There is always food or snacks of some sorts out, they transition quite well. I found that there service was wonderful they refilled things quickly and were always cleaning up. We stayed CL at the CR this year at WDW and I will never pay that much again there, when they went from breakfast to snacks they closed the CL in between and same for afternoon and evening cordials, we couldn't even get in to grab a drink, which were no refrigerated they had ice. Very disappointed after staying at PPH. The breakfast options alone are good to hold us over for some time. If I remeber correctly the CL closes at 10, I think the earliest of all of the DL hotels.

I echo most of what everyone else has said as well. My boyfriend and I booked concierge for a good AP rate one weekend trip and we enjoyed it. I don't think it was open super late, but we could at least pick up some small items for breakfast and for an afternoon/nighttime snack.

They always had food out when we went into the lounge; I remember worrying about the same thing the first time we had gone into the lounge between "traditional" meal times.

If you can get a good rate, I say go for it!! :)
