If your having a wishes wedding do you have to go by the per person minimum or do you go by the food and beverage minimum of the venue chosen? For instance, if your having a brunch at the Attic do you have to go by the $75.00pp minimum or the $1000 food and beverage minimum? :confused3

Last I heard this was the per person minimum...

Brunch $75.00 pp:scared1:
Lunch $100.00 pp:scared1:
Dinner $125.00 pp:scared1:

Thanks,:thumbsup2

When I discussed the minimums for Wishes during my site visit it depended on the time of day (ie. Breakfast, lunch, dinner) My minimum was $125pp for dinner but my reception location doesn't have a F&B minimum, at least I don't think so. I think you have to meet both the F&B and pp minimum depending on where you have the reception.

I think you need to meet both as well. Here is my understanding of it, but I could be wrong:

The per person minimum is applied to all things throughout the wedding day, so like the the reception, dessert parties, pre-reception, and the cake. So if you have an evening event, you must spend $125 per person throughout the day.

If your reception venue also has a food and beverage minimum, say $2500, you must spend at least that amount on food and beverages during the reception alone. Then if you still have not met the $125 f/b minimum, you can make up for it with dessert parties, etc.

I think that makes sense! :rotfl:

you explained that very well!

So the pp price includes what you do all day, like DP's and pre-reception and reception, but not cake, right?

Cake is included in the per-person overall minimum for having a Wishes event. ALL food and ALL beverage counts toward that $75/$100/$125 per person. Cake is *not* included in the venue-specific food and beverage minimum unless you are at the Grand Floridian.

As Sarah explained, if your venue has a food and beverage minimum, you have to meet that AND the per-person minimums. :thumbsup2
