I recently went on a Carnival cruise ship for my friends 40th birthday (all girls). My friend brought a power strip for her room, which I thought was a great idea when we sail on the Magic next spring. Between me, the DH and kids there is always something plugged in (cameras, computers, dvd players...)

I shared that idea with another friend who just went on a Royal Carribean Cruise and they confiscated her power strip.

Does anyone know will Disney allow it onboard?

I had a power strip for our room on the Disney Dream (laptop, 2 camera chargers, and a few other things) and had no problem. though policies do change frequently.

I have used a travel power strip with no problem on DCL. However, your room steward may unplug it during the day. Which was fine, as we recharged everything overnight.

I had two extension cords plugged in our room on the Dream last week all the time.....no problems!
