Potential Problem on Hotwire Standard Shipping - Using Airborne/USPS Joint Delivery

Tracing after Hotwire/USPS/Airborne for 2 weeks, and are not effective at all. I am tired, frustrated and just want the best and most effective option this time. Here is my draft warning letter to USPS, and I had a similar one for hotwire.

Any suggestion or idea will be greately appreciated.

Case #OR139433xxx
Dear US Postal Service:

I am writing to you again regarding the complaint I filed with OR139433xxx.

It had been extremely difficult to receive response and update from this facility regarding what had happened to the Airborne@home mails. Last week’s conversation with this USPS facility, and they refused to accept detail info about the problem, look into, and offer assistant on these Airborne@home letter packages because of excuse of large volume of the mails and refused to be cooperative.

We discovered pattern of same problems regarding this USPS facility which continuously holding our Airborne@home mails for two weeks and longer without delivery in past couple weeks. This problem was reported when it was discovered., and had not been fixed.

Due to the level of difficulty on this matter, I would like to inform you that all the correspondences and phone conversations will be documented in details for this matter. And I will try to initiate one conference call tomorrow with this USPS office, Airborne and possibly other parties. And all historical and future documentation will be forwarded to my attorney for their review due to their potential involvement which will be decided shortly.

Thank you for your attention on this matter.

Jennylen ~ Does your local news (TV, radio, newspaper) have a "consumer problem" advocate? Maybe this is something they would help you with. They seem to have a way of cutting through red tape.

Thanks, bballmom56. The problem resolved - I guess because of the warning letter to Hotwire. They declare lost-mail and refunded to me. Regarding this USPS "black hole" facility, I might deal with them including release this to the news as you mentioned when I have some energy later day.

The following is just part of other correspondance to Hotwire and Airborne/DHL:

On Hotwire email, I wrote:
"Dear Hotwire Savings Club Customer Support: I am writing to you again regarding the order I never received. According to your reply below, I should received a response "within 1-2 business days or shortly" - See below. It had been six (6) days now, not a single call or email response from you. I contacted you in good faith and hope someone can little bit of updates what had happened with the order last Friday, Monday and today, and all of you had refused to transfer to phone to consumer affair department which you claimed they are handling the problem...."

On Airborne email, I wrote:
"Apparently, this facility has no or just partial capability to process, read, scan, track, or reject non-scanable Airborne@home mails, and no correct/complete procedure in place to process Airborne mails. To avoid future similar problem to other of your clients, I suggest REMOVE this facility from your computer network, this way shippers will not mis-use and have same problems again. "

I'd like to THANKS everyone who helped, concerned and spent time reading this thread.

I am going to cancel it for now due to these issues. Hope they fix the problem, someday I can re-join. I heard people can re-join one year later, not sure if it's true.

I've been using Hotwire for over a year now to get vouchers. I liked the way they did shipping before. It was much easier and I liked having to sign for the items.

They shipped us something on June 18th. We never received it. I waited a couple of weeks before calling. I got the replacement vouchers yesterday. They didn't give me a bit of trouble. They did send them needing a signature yesterday.

My orders never arrived (over a month), the wrong USPS sorting facility they routed to might have dumped them. However, They finally sent my the replacements after one month later.

I did try to track them down myself because each of those orders are over $1,000. It's prety hard for me to sit back and relax when I am not getting my orders for weeks and most of posting stated they got theirs within a week, especially when Hotwire asked me to go to USPS sorting facility pickup mails myself, DHL stated in they gave the mails to USPS and they are not responsible for lost mails, and I could not get help from USPS.

I have to say this is a very good money saving club, as long as you don't lost mail ($$), or Hotwire will take that responsibility (hope that keep current terms and conditions).

I would have been freaking out if I were you, that's for sure.

I wish they'd go back to having Airborne Express ship the items and requiring a signature. All I know is that NO ONE seems to know where the original vouchers are.
