Ok, I recieved a postcard with a PIN code on it, at my address, in my younger sisters name. I decided to plan a Grand Gathering for us, Dsis and DBIL, and my Dparents. Well, I booked ASSP for Labor Day week (3 rooms), but now no one can go except us. And DH says he woul rather stay home. So, I was thinking of just taking me, DS13 and DD17. Now, here is the ?.... can I use the postcard to keep the low rate? Or, does my Dsis have to be there? It has MY address on it, and Dsis has NEVER lived with me, and I mean NEVER, not even with our parents, since she is 18 years younger than me! So, can I get the low rate, or am I out of luck? Thanks!!:wizard:

just trying to bump this back up in case anyone knows the answer to this!!! TIA!!!:)

Scanmom, did the postcard have Huey, Duey, and Louey with suitcases on it? If so, could you give me the code. I had one and lost it and need to use it.

Sneezie- This would not work. The pin number is tied to a specific last name and address. If you had one yourself just call and ask for it to be applied. They will have record of the pin code under your household name.

I had two postcards come to me, one with my married name and one with my maiden name and married name together. I don't know what happened to the postcards, since we'd already booked at the AKL with the free dining code, I didn't bother to keep up with the $59/value resort code. Now, we've decided to stay one extra night in a value resort with my brother and his family. I called to see if I could get the postcard code applied to my reservation but the guest service person said that she couldn't find the code attached to my name. I guess I'll be turning my house upside down and inside out looking for that postcard when I get home.

:cool1: I'm so happy I post on this board. I would not have known to keep calling back. The first two people I talked to couldn't find a code attached to my name even though I knew I'd received a postcard.

I called back AGAIN and the lady told me that she did find a code attached to my name but before she could apply anything to my name our call was disconnected. So I called AGAIN, talked to someone and was transferred to Grand Gatherings. As I was telling them my story, the call was dropped  But I didn't get mad. I just called AGAIN and spoke with Lee. I got my information out quickly and explained to her that I'd talked to several people and been disconnected several times so I was hoping the third time was the charm.

She checked my info and sure enough, there was a code attached to my name  I would have been able to get an All Star resort for $59 a night but there were all booked.:sad2: I was able to get a family suite for $129. So that's all booked. Praise God!!!

Do you know the dates the postcard is good for? I got one and set it on the side, but now I'm thinking about using it. Thanks.

So glad everything worked out for you!!:cool1:

I just hate when I think I cannot go, so throw out the postcard, then wish I'd saved it because maybe I could manage a few nights...but then no more postacrd . LOL have had mixed results with CM's finding the code attached to the name - sometimes no problem, other times it takes a few calls.:flower3:

You'd think after all these years I'd save the darn postcard, just in case!:confused3
