OMG!!! I am scared!!!!

What were your results with insanity? did you do it in order to improve your cardio conditioning or to lose weight?

I didn't change my diet, so I only lost a couple of pounds, but my body is reshaped...like my torso, side, obliques, upper abs, hamstrings, and quads are all more toned...My whole back is in great shape! I wish it was my lower abs...They have definitely had a great workout, but with 2 c-sections, it's really hard to firm those up! It's kind of frustrating...

I am going to do Atkins for a few weeks to chop off some pounds...I just need to change some of my 3 pm eating habits...LOL...that would do the trick! I think that INSANITY is addictive! I feel like I am cheating if I am not doing it! I love it!:rotfl:
 
I'm a BeachBody fan too!! I will deffinitely investigate INSANITY more. I am doing Chalene Extreme right now. I really like it. My DH is using P90X. I like the length of Chalene Extreme and the content is more woman friendly. I feel like I need to add a little more cardio to the program, though. I throw in a short run a couple of days per week.

I really liked Chaleane Extreme...I did that boot camp like 6 months ago...it was great because it focuses on core workouts moreso than Tony Horton's P90X...hardly any lower body workouts, unless it is a cardio WO...I think that Chaleane does a better job of helping women's trouble spots. If u are already in perfect shape, P90X is fine because u can handle all that upper body stuff...pull ups are crazy for women!!!

Insanity is a great way to lean up before starting the muscle building!I love it!:banana:

Tracy Anderson's Mat Workout

Run Time approximately 60 mins

Probably one of my favorite all time workouts on dvd. Tracy Anderson Mat Workout is a 60 minute miracle in a dvd! Yes you heard me right! I said a miracle in a dvd!!!! Tracy promises to make you long, lean and teeny tiny. After only doing the workout 3 times i noticed a difference in my legs, abs and my arms.

I have Tracy's mat workout DVD, too. You have to be careful to count the reps, especially with the arm exercises, because she doesn't count!

It's amazing how 30 seconds of jumping jacks with Jillian's 30 Day Shred can wipe me out! I think it's an excellent DVD, but too jarring on my old body.

I alternate between Tracy Anderson's Mat Workout, Tamilee Webb's I Want That Body, and Core Fusion - especially Body Sculpt and Glutes and Thighs.

Yes I agree the more I do the workout you can see that often times she is uneven with her counts. Sometimes with the legs I alternate which side I use first.

Insanity is awesome. i think about the people in that video and I cry to think if they had to reshoot it..oh the torture

I know, right!? You are dying throughout the dvd, but u just keep pushing through...I sweat more when I am doing Insanity than any other workout in my life, even running 6-8 miles at a time...more sweating and I drink moe water during the Insanity workouts! LOL I drink at least 2 full water bottles for one MAX Insanity Workout 50-60 minutes....and I usually burn about 600 calories, via my heart rate monitor using I:thumbsup2nsanity! That's great!
 
Amazing workout. It really is a last chance workout. I'm sweating by the warm-ups. Haven't used it long, but it kick-started my weight-loss again. Went from losing .4 lbs a day to 1 lb a day. WOOHOO! And it's led by Jillian, the tougher trainer (imo).
