Here I am on October 25, 1980. I was just a few weeks shy of my 20th birthday. (hats were in back then, what can I say!) I'll scan a few more in tomorrow AM!

Wanted to add SnoWhite -- your dress with the black bodice is outrageous -- love it, love it, love it!!

The tartan plaid bridesmaid gowns are ultra cool too.

WilmaBud - I have your bridesmaid gown in burgundy.

I was married 20 years ago -- I wanted a pale pink gown which the manufacturer special made for me, without telling me! The bridal store was going to alterate it to pink and the manufacturer didn't want them messing with their design, so they made it up and sent it out. Luckily I loved it. Later a few weeks after my wedding, I was still unemployed and watching daytime TV -- they were having a wedding gown show and here they announce the latest trend in gowns - my gown in the same pink color by the same manufacturer. Now did I inspire that? Who knows, but it sure was a jaw dropper!
The only thing different was they put on one of those huge butt bows.

I know what the problem is they are too big. I have no idea how to resize them if my dh evr works less than 60 hours a week, he promises to show me.

Ok guys sorry so big, I swear I am not that vain. Resizing will be a lesson for another day. I dont think I have used my brain this much in the last 21/2 years,. Sesame Street and dora dont require that much thinking.

At first my family thought I was crazy to have a dress with Black in it, but I just didn't feel comfortable in all white, I don't even own a white t-shirt! I think I'm way too pale for all white.

It ended up being exactly what I wanted though. Thanks again for the comments
