These are all great! I especially love all the black and white shots.

I'd post my pictures, but that would require me to look in my wedding photo album -- haven't done it since my Dad died 16 years ago. For whatever reasons, I can no longer open it up. Odd, since I can look at other pics of him (and my mom, who is also gone) with no problem. But he worked so hard to pay for my wedding, well, I just can't bear to be reminded. Maybe one day I'll be inspired to look through it and post pics.

I know what you mean, my dad died 6 weeks before my wedding. I'm glad I have pictures and video because I really dont remember a whole lot about the day.

These go back a few years, it will be 33 this September 11th.......

Even no mustache, have had that for 30 years. That day seemed like we waited forever for it to arrive, and then it was over in the blink of an eye.

These are ALL great pictures, I always enjoy when these wedding pictures come up every so often. Actually, any pictures, LOL.

My mom's veil/headpiece looks JUST like your wife's! At least if memory serves me right... I think it's stunning, personally.

May I ask what year you were married? My parents were married in 1970... perhaps that was a "trend" in wedding attire then.

Aimeedyan, we were married in 1971. I thought it looked pretty neat too.

OMG Dan! It looks like we had our reception at the same place. Was yours at Aqua Bella on Harlem in Chicago?

Looks like you got the red room. I wanted the red room but it was booked so we got the gold room. I remember it being the most expensive banquet hall around but coming from an Italian family we had to do it up big. LOL

It was either there or go to Fontana D'or but we thought that Aqua Bella was prettier and had a better menu.

You guys all look awesome!!! ... and so young too (and I'm not just referring to Dan and Marie)!!!

I had my wedding photos on the two previous wedding threads and I want to repost them here but they are in the old DIS photo storage website which is no longer accessible. I thought I also uploaded them to imagestation but I didn't. I have a new computer now and am no longer hooked up to the scanner. I need to work on this.

In the meantime, please post more photos!
