I am going Dec 14-19...I know awesome rate huh Being a cast member pays off This is actually the first time we stayed at Boardwalk...normally its Grand, Poly, or WL
We got an AP rate of $111.38 with tax at POR for the night of December 16 and $212.64 for WL Courtyard View the night of December 22. We are using our DVC points of the nights in between.
Coronado Springs December 26-January 1, $100/night....and that is with the Cast Member 50% discount (my sister works at the Contemporary). Gotta love peak season rates...
For my first December trip I will be staying at AllStarMusic at $59 a night at the annual passholder rate for one night, so that will give me December 2nd and December 3rd at DisneyWorld
Also I will be staying in DisneyWorld for 5 days from December 23rd to December 27th and my passholder rate is $59 a night for all those nights I will be staying at AllStarMusic again So I get to stay in Disney on the night of Christmas Eve and on the night of Christmas day for only $59 a night Now that is a very good rate for Christmas
We have a package, so I honestly could not tell you what our actual room rate is. We are booked through AAA, but with the Disney code that was out. We have POFQ, 9 nights, dining plan, 9 day park hoppers, 2 adults, 2 children and we paid $2,836.

OK, now I feel better. I saw your post saying $151 at BWI and thought I'd somehow missed a fantastic deal. So is that like 50% off rack rates? That's definitely a nice discount.
I had looked at BWI for our december trip, but it was $230 with AP discount.
So we're staying at POR from 12/16 - 12/22 for $99/night ($111 w/tax) with an AP rate.

The CM rates range from like 25% off to 60% off depending on how early you book, what time of year, whether or not the CM is staying in the room with you, etc. Since my sister is staying in the room with us she was able to get us the 50% off rate.
I booked it online on August 18th There are some special passholder rates for $59 a night at a Value Resort Also if you book a room on the last night that has the passholder rate you still get every night at the passholder rate For example December 23rd was the last night in December with the $59 a night rate, so when I booked my vacation at AllStarMusic to check in on December 23rd and check out on December 27th I still got the night of December 24th to 26th at the $59 a night passholder rate If I would have booked my vacation to check in at AllStarMusic on December 24th it would have been $125 a night for every night that I stayed at Disney
Just think if I would have booked my vacation to check in on the December 24th and check out on December 27th I would have had to pay $125 a night for 3 nights would would come to $375 subtotal. But since I booked it from December 23rd to December 27th at the passholder rate of $59 a night my subtotal for those 4 nights is only $236 So by checking in on the the 23rd of December I am paying less to stay at AllStar for 4 nights than I would be paying to stay at AllStar for 3 nights if I would be checking in on the 24th of December
Thanks for letting me know. Unfortunately we would need to check in after the 23rd, so it looks like I'm out of luck finding a discounted room for our last minute trip.
