My DH and kids got me the Jim Shore "The One That Started Them All" which is the one with the 7 dwarves, snow white and the evil queen on it and when you turn it around behind the evil queen is the queen transformed into the old creepy witch. It's so detailed! I have a few Jim Shore pieces but this is my biggest and coolest one so far!

There's actually a funny story behind this gift. My DH HATES shopping...he tries to avoid it as much as he can. Well my girls are now at an age where they want to go and buy a gift for mom and they know if I buy the gift it's not the same thing. So my DD's bugged him non stop to buy a Christmas present...so my oldest DD came up to me one day and said "mom if I could get you something that was easy to go buy (cuz Dad doesn't want to go to a big store) but you would like it what would it be??"

I said I love any Jim Shore and they are at Hallmarks which are easier to get into around here than other places. Her eyes lit up and off she ran to tell her dad. Well a little bit later I hear her raised voice and I wondered what was going on... Finally about 30 minutes later my DH comes in and says, " why do you want gym shorts from Wal Mart??"

I was so confused for a second that then busted out laughing....I said ," Noooo I would like JIM SHORE from HALLMARK."

So the big joke now is do you like your gym shorts you got for Christmas??

What a great story, I had to go tell it to my DH and DD. We have a similar story. My stepmother wears hearing aids and often misunderstands. I don't remember the original phrase but she looked at us and said, "the spoon is bent?" Now every time one of us doesn't understand something we'll say, "the spoon is bent!"

We had a very Disney Christmas here, vinylmations, Jim Shore, Frozen, Star Wars, Gaurdians of the Galaxy and Disney Infinty. My fave was a necklace I ordered from Etsy for my oldest DD with a castle and a hand stamped disk that says, "Dreams Do Come True."

My Disney haul included; Disney Pictopia and a Pandora Cham. I bought DH some really old vinylmation.

We went with my parents this fall to Disney and they bought us part of our gift there so we couldn't wait to find out what it was. We each got a poncho (yes just those traditional plastic ones with the logo on the back). It was basically a joke gift. When we went together in September we brought our own cheap ponchos. My parents had to buy there and I kept commenting on how much better quality theirs was. I wanted to buy one but felt wasteful since I had all my cheap ones.

A friend sent a box with 4 gifts in it for me. She told me it was "all things Disney".
Christmas morning I opened them to find 2 Mickey pins for Womens Suffragette, a Mickey Head gum ball machine and a hand crank Mickey toy with him eating from a plate (old and dusty). I sent her a thank you email and when she replied she said she had gotten them from a Federal auction of confiscated property of drug dealers, LOL!
Hey, I gave her a can of unicorn (came in a can like Spam does)!

DH bought me the Pandora "Believe" charm, I bought the new puppy a Mickey collar, leash and Minnie harness

We got our son Pictopia. And by getting it for him I mean we gave it to him and I plan on making him play daily.

Hubs got me a Santa Mickey shirt, Toy Story PJ pants and Tinker Bell fleece to turn in to a throw for the couch!

also taking my niece and nephew to wdw for the first time in Nov so that was there gift

Just remembered one more little Disney "gift"...a good friend with some Disney "ties" sent the boys sets of Disney pins...they arrived a couple days after Christmas,so it was nice timing...and the oldest decided to let me add his to my collection...

Disney things i got this year was the 2014 Disney Snowglobe from Disney Store (Where you bought $25 worth of stuff and got the snowglobe for $10 or so.)

I also got a set of 4 bag clips from my aunt and a mini Minnie Mouse speaker and earphone set. Awesome.

I also got a Kermit the frog pillow & stitch funko vinyl from my friend in Texas. She also sent me a kermit ornament just recently so I haven't received it yet. She forgot to include it in the box.

I got her Disney for her birthday (mostly Olaf).

My Mom got me a Precious Moments Cinderella Figurine. (Course I had picked that one out and new about that one. LOL)

Our Disney loot for Christmas included.....

Me: DH got me 7 charms from the Disney/Pandora collection. Two of them were Disney Park Exclusives!! I also got Maleficent on Blu Ray.

DH: I got hubby an Oswald antenna topper and a Stitch car sticker. Oh, I also got him a Star Wars lego set from Star Wars Rebels: 'The Ghost'. Disney owns Star Wars now, so DH said I should mention that gift!

My sister and I each (with the help of our mother) managed to sneak away from the other while at Disneyland and smuggle home plush toys! I bought her a Princess Minnie (as when we went when she was 5 she HAD to have the princess hat! ) and she bought me a small black and white Mickey and Minnie to add to my collection of Mickey plushes . She also gave me a Mickey Christmas DVD and the Aristocats on DVD.

Overall though, we didn't give too much for Christmas presents this year, as we had all bought ourselves enough stuff when visiting the mouse earlier this month!

Pandora seems popular this year. I was supposed to get some Disney Pandora charm, but apparently the store gave my MIL the wrong gift bag!

I'm so jealous of everyone's Disney Pandoras! We were wanting to buy some at Disneyland (and didn't buy them elsewhere in the US beforehand) and they were totally sold out! Unfortunately they're not available in Australia, so I'll have to work out some way to get them.

Sleeping Beauty little people set was also in my stocking. I kept the 3 fairies and gave DGD Sleeping Beauty
to go with the Castle Little People set we gave her for Christmas
Gave DD a gift card for our trip in March
