Post your Crocs photos!

Here are mine:

gators.jpg

They are knock-offs I got at Rack Room Shoes...they're called "Gators" :rotfl: . They are very comfy. When I tried them on, I could feel no difference between them and the real thing, but I only have try-on experience with real Crocs...maybe someone else who wears Crocs has tried them and can comment.

Rack room had a BOGO sale, so I got two pair for $30. I also got light blue.

It seems like sm/med/lg sizes would be tough with shoes, because you want a good fit.

Crocs don't really fit like other shoes. You really don't want a good fit. They should be loose feeling. You might go to crocs.com and read up on the fit. It takes some getting used to. I thought mine were too big and worried about them falling off but they don't.

If you wear the same pair of crocs with and without socks, do they eventually stretch to be to big when you go sockless? KWIM?

I don't think mine stretch out with socks. I wear mine both ways.

I agree - Crocs shouldn't fit like regular shoes. Loose is better. I also don't believe you can stretch them just by wearing them with socks. I actually wanted to stretch the ankle strap on mine to make it a bit looser, and I had to try hard to do that (finally accomplished it by warming them up in the dryer first), so I don't think you have to worry about inadvertantly stretching them with socks.

Ok I've seen these sold in my local Hallmark (of all places) for a while now and thought they were SO ugly but I'm sold. I have VERY narrow yet big (size 10) feet and ALWAYS get blisters and HATE walking in disney and at cedar point... my feet literally burn at the end of the day. I know crocs run wide.. too wide for narrow feet? And I think I have flat foot or fallen arches b/c my feet ache at the sole when I walk...

My other question is which is THE BEST KIND to purchase? Most comfy? I think the nile is cutest but... which would you recommend for ultimate comfort?

And finally, what's the cheapest you've found them?

I went looking for some at lunch & found some at Sports Authority for $22.99. They didn't have any style other than the Beach ones though (I'm looking at the Nile ones as well) & only a couple colors in my size although they had a lot of other sizes available.

I made DH try them on & I think he's sold after scoffing about them for so long. They did seem really comfortable although the Beach style was hitting the top of my foot in an odd way---I'm a bit concerned about how much give the shoes have? Otherwise I can see it rubbing & giving me a blister or two.

I didn't read EVERY post in this thread, but I never saw a direct answer to this: are Crocs comfortable to wear all day while touring parks? I don't have any, but my wife and daughters do and they've wondered about packing them for our trip this summer. Those with first-hand experience please tell me: were you glad you wore them at the of the day? Or did you change to other shoes?

I wore mine all day every single day - by choice!

I wore them once when we went over for the day to two parks - MK and AK. I easily wore them for 12 hours, and my feet were fine.

In fact, we went to Epcot one day and I wore my New Balance tennies and my feet were bothering me after a few hours.

Crocs are the only shoes I like to wear to the parks, because I KNOW I will be comfortable all day. I have one pair, but I am placing an order for 2 pairs of the Beach model and 2 pairs of the flip flops.

Don't get me wrong, they are U-G-L-Y, but they are SO COMFY!! :cloud9:

That is so strange that you mention that becasue i did a search to see what stores sell them in my area and one of them was a hallamrk store.....hmmm :scratchin weird.

anyway- i am going to check out REI tomorrow and see what types they have. this is the FIRST place i have ever heard about these things. now i need to go and try them on.

i wanna be like the cool kids! :thumbsup2

I just got my Payless style shoes and I'm in love. I do try and avoid looking down at my very ugly shoes, but they make my feet so happy! Even standing and climbing up and down that silly step stool to paint my living room was great! The funny thing for me was how small I needed to buy them. Normally I wear a woman's 5 or 6 but these are a kids 4 and they're still loose.

Now, I just have to find some way of explaining them when I go back to work next week. I've been living in them this school vacation and hate the thought of going back to my heavy black clogs. I'm sure my students will think they're entertaining, but the other teachers?

Now, see, patch.. I think those look great.. the black with jeans are just fine. I can't quite get past the bright ones with shorts but.... I, too, wanna be one of the cool kids so I'll be looking for some;)

I'd still love to know which kind is most comfy. my feet are big and narrow and I've yet to find a show that fits well. I'm really excited to try these hideous blocks of plastic.

I actually managed to get them for $14.99 (yes, they were actual crocs, not payless or any other "knock-off") from delia's which is an online store. They were on clearance for $19.99 and I had a $5 off coupon. They only had one color and one size, but luckily was one of my fav colors and my size. It was a VERY lucky find.

Thanks! I try to take a picture of Tara and her Crocs every visit now (which right now seems to be once or twice a week!) when she wears them.

As for wearing CROCS all day - I love them at the parks, in fact I wore mine all day at EPCOT on the very first day I had them, and had not problems at all. My feet feel much better after a day at the parks in my crocs than in any other shoes. Mine are RED, and the other day when we went, I did't have anything red or white that was clean to wear with my jeans, so I wore my Birkenstocks and my feet just weren't as comfy.... and I love my Birkenstocks too - just not for Disney anymore!

I'm not sure if one style is better than another when it comes to narrow feet. I think the nice thing about crocs is they mold to your foot. It's almost like getting a custom fitted shoe.

I own Beach & Aspen styles. I like the Aspen because I can wear them to work with dress pants and they look like any other clogs. Okay, they don't really look like any other clogs but close! :teeth:

I also own two pair of the Payless knockoffs. They're comfortable but they aren't quite up to the Crocs. I don't know if it's the support but they just don't measure up. I don't think I'd take them with me for all day touring at WDW. My Beach went from sun up to sun down last August.

Well, we were a Merrell family, but have become sold on the Crocs for summer. We still have to have our fleece lined Merrells for these lovely Chicago winters, but the Crocs are just as comfortable as the summerweight Merrells for less than half the price.

Between myself and the 4 kiddos, we have most of the colors covered. If I can convince DH to buy a pair, we'll be a total Crocs family. But DH thinks they're only for women. I'd love to see some pics of men in Crocs to help prove to him they aren't too girly. And considering his foot problems, I'd think he'd find them heaven! :cloud9:

My dad was in the hospital just before Christmas and I was amazed at how many employees had Croc's on, especially in the ER. I'm talking men, women, Dr.'s, nurses orderlies, everyone. My dad's two surgeons (both men) came in to talk to us after the surgery and they both had them on. If he has foot problems you should just buy some for him, I bet if his feet feel good afterward he won't even care.

Anyway, I had to tell you guys a website where I ordered my last pair of Crocs. It's called Extreme Footwear. Sorry I can't post the URL but the website is just the name above typed all together! I had ordered my FIRST pair from the Crocs website and they were terribly slow and the shipping wasn't CHEAP. Then I heard about extreme footwear's site. They seem to have a great selection, PLUS FREE SHIPPING!!! It's actually cheaper for me to order them from this place than at a local store, because there's no sales tax either.
Thanks for the Extreme Footwear link. I already have the Beach and the Professional, and just ordered the Cayman in Butter from them. I wore the Professional in various airports all day a couple of weeks ago, running from gate to gate, and did get a blister on the top of my foot where it rubbed against the edge. I had just bought them and hope it's because I hadn't worn them enough yet. My Beach pair is a little too big, and the next size smaller is too small. I like that the Cayman comes in actual sizes, as does the Professional.

Ok i have a question about sizing.....If i wear a 9 what size would i order if i ordered online to get the real Crocs........

thanks

Brooke

P.S. Will go look at Payless tomorrow to see if any are left. :moped:

I normally wear a size 9 but the size 9 Crocs seemed a little small. My big toe rubbed at the top. I got a size 10 and they seem to be doing ok.
