But here's my STEAL!

Kingston 1G SD cards
@ Buy.com

2 ea @ $29.23
Total $58.46
free shipping, no tax
google checkout, coupon $20
sub-total $38.46
$14 rebate on each card so -$28.00
= $10.46
divided by 2 = $5.23 for each 1g card!
less 2% cash back from sunshine rewards -$1.17 and 1% back on my Disney visa -$0.38
= net cost $4.46 each!!

This amazes me because when I bought my digital camera last year I paid around $85 for a 1G card for it. I bought the second card at Walmart a couple months later on sale for $60ish.

I bought these too a couple days ago. I got my daughter and my brother a digital camera, so these will be great!

DH went and braved a couple of stores today. He went to Target to get Christmas lights for outdoors and dvd's for $5. His 2nd store was Lowe's for those $5 ornament totes.

We really didn't need anything today, but DH wanted to get those thing, so I said he's going on his own. He's not taking the kids out in that craziness.

I'll probably shop online today.

On Thansgiving we got (Online)

Circuit City

1 GB Ultra II Compact Flash Card 14.99 AR
Phillips Progressive scan DVD Player $29.99 AR

This Morning @ Kohls by 5 am and got:

Dora Talking Van $11.89
Dora School House Playset $5.51
Boots and Tico Figures 2.96
Black Boots for me $16.99
Christmas smelling jar candle $3.39
It's a Wonderful Life DVD (can NOT believe we did not have this already) $5.09
Hardback "How the Grich Stole Christmas" $5.00

The prices were after my 15% off coupon. My total was $54 + I got $10 in Kohl's Cash! I would have bought more but stupid me, they were out of carts and I forgot to bring my daughter's stroller as a "backup cart" like lots of other smart shoppers. Those toy deals are pretty good when you combine 50% off w/ the 15% off coupon!

AT Target got:

Fashion Fever Barbie $6
Dora ABC Game $3.99
Sleep Pants $12
Sleep Shorts $5
March of Penquins DVD (2) $3.99
Polar Express DVD $5.99
Grey's Anatomy Season 1 DVD $8.99
Wedding Crashers DVD (for dh) $5.99
Yahtzee Handheld $9
Memory foam Pillow (also for dh) $13.99

No big purchases for me. I actually go out for the fun of it and enjoy saving a little money too. I go early and come home early and usually find it really isn't too bad. Today I got home before the kids even got up (7am) and then had my dh stop by the mall for the $5 Bath and Body Wallflowers.

Now I am off to take a nap. Hope everyone got some great deals!

We got to Kohls' about 4 minutes after 6 and all the "doorbusters" were gone. My friend needed 3 of the digital picture frames. We shopped around a bit and she aksed a manager if any were left. He said, Actually, I just stuck 3 back in the picture frame area! She got lucky like that all day with the things she wanted :)

I got some Sketchers flip flops for DD for next summer for $2 :)

I got lots of things already mentioned here. I think we didn't find maybe 2 things we were looking for all day. We were most impressed with Target - hands down the most inventory, quickest lines, employees EVERYWHERE to help out. Walmart lines were empty, good inventory. Best Buy lines moved fast but were still longer than other stores. Kmart was so disgusting. I will never go there again. There was store merchandise all over all the floors, no employees to help find anything, very long lines and even MOLD in the coke fridge at the check out. ICK!

AC Moore lines were long but quick.

Shoppers were all nice every where we went too - no fighting over parking, nobody upset with anything.

FUN DAY!

I am trying to recoup from this morning. I left at 5:45 for Sears. I got there just as they were handing out the $10 gift cards. My real purpose was to get a Wedding/Christmas present for my brother and his fiance from myself and my sister. Best Buy had the Panasonic 42" Plasma for $999. There was no way I was going to wait all night. I figured I would give Sears a try since they price match. I got it! $950 (they give you back 10% of the price difference of what they well it for). They are going to be sooo excited when we give this to them on Christmas Eve! I was out of Sears by 5:25 and hit Toys R' Us. I only got 2 things - the Little Mermaid Projector Drawer for $9.99 and the Bella Dance thing for $14.99. That was all I needed from there other than the WII which they did not have. Then to Macy's. I did get a bunch of things with their $10 off $25 coupons, such as towels, pillows, gloves, dishes for my sister for Christmas. I got a Claiborne suede jacket for my husband for $70 which was regularly $200. Also, a Lenox Holiday server for about $8 which was regularly $56 which will be another gift. I went to Gap for their 30% sale and just could not deal with shopping there for some reason. I think it was because they did not have alot of sizes and I did not feel like asking them to check. I forgot to check out Gymboree. I then went to Walgreens for their 7 hour sale and got 4 Tide 50 oz for $1.99 each, 4 planters peanuts for .99 each and 4 boxes of chocolate nutter butters for .99 each. Also, 3 small Ty beanie babies which 'Jingle' for my parents Yorkie. She lost her little toy and she is staying with us this week while my parents are in DIsney. Thats about it and I am EXHAUSTED!!!

Mall (6:15 am) Disney store- Pirate tent $13, Stitch holiday toy $12
Limited too - HS musical stationary set and slippers B1g1 50% off... $22
Macys- Double dance pad $19.99, HS musical t-shirt $10.99 (used $10 off coupon) 600TC king sheet set $49.99 (used another $10 off coupon) total....$62 after coupons

Home and relaxing by 9am when the traffic reports were saying that hte crowds were insane. While it was busy at 5am, it was not jam packed. I do NOT go shopping after 9am on Black Friday or on any weekends between now and Christmas!

I didn't get much exciting. Sad, but I used the time as Mommy's Alone Time. I woke at 4am and started over to Circuit City at 430am - but the line was all the way across the building, so I crossed the highway and went to TRU. It wasn't too bad. There was a line, but we were well-behaved (unlike what was happening at WalMart and BestBuy. I picked up the one thing I wanted - the VTech Learning Laptop fro $19.99. After that I drove by Circuit City and while no line outside, the checkout line wrapped around the photo dept and down to the back of the building. Not worth it for me for the $2.99 media card and the free DVCs. I hen drove by BestBuy and over an hour after opening the line was STILL wrapped around the building. I went home and got ready for work (and got the kids ready to go with me); went to work until 1030am and then drove to Office Depot (don't know WHY I thought there was something there, then to Radio Shack (Rechargable batteries and charger for about $18), then Walgreen's for the $9.99 Christmas tree and Norelco haver, which they were out of, but got a Remington for $5 more. Then I went BACK to Circuit City - NOTHING - and then Best Buy and got a 3pack of DVCs for $15 and a 2GB media card for $29.99 (and no rebate!).

My poor kids are worn out - it must stink to be dragged around for nothing interesting. They were actually good, though.

I'm so tired, but my kids don't want to let me lie down. YIPPEE. I'm not making dinner tonight.

I HAD THE BEST BF DAY EVER! This is the first time I got up early (4:45 a.m.) and I hit Wal-Mart at 5:35 a.m. Here's my "trip report!" :rotfl: Because, man, was it a trip!

Wal-Mart
Got there way past opening, so the long checkout lines were gone by the time I got there. The cheap DVDs were picked through (just "The Incredible Hulk left -- they can't even sell it on sale!) I got:
Cabbage Patch Kids baby $10 (being returned... see below!)
Trivial Pursuit The 80s $15
The Office Season 1 DVD $9.97
Daughtry CD $9.97
Fashion Fever $5

Then I hit Target at 6:08 a.m. -- Had to park behind the building! I was actually in a line! Never done that before. Here's my haul:

Target
Candy Land $3.99
Memory $3.99
Chutes and Ladders $3.99
Cabbage Patch Kids baby $15
Digital Picture Frame $62 (these were gone, but someone had changed their mind and dumped it and I snatched it up! :woohoo: )
512 MB UB Drive $7.97 :woohoo:
Memory Card $7.97
Bissell Little Green Cleaner $68
Bissell cleaner $3.99
600 Thread Ct. Ftd Sheet $14.99
600 Thread Ct. Flt Sheet $14.99
600 Thread Ct. Pilwcses $14.99
4x6 Picture frames 4x $3

Then it was off to the mall. I was off schedule -- I wanted to be there at 7 a.m. when Old Navy opened, but I actually had to go through that horrible Target line TWICE, since I'd picked up KING sheets instead of QUEEN and we really needed these at home!

Old Navy
Gave away pull cards (I won a set of gift tags. Woo hoo  ) and breakfast bars, which were really good! My score:
Cashmere Sweater $30 (from DH to me)
Red Cableknit Hoodie $20 (from me to me)
Socks for DD 10 for $10

Disney Store
This place was a madhouse! EVERYTHING was an ADDITIONAL 20 percent off on top of many good sales. I was scared of the line (snaked all the way through the back of the store), so I decided to come back later. When I returned, it was still a mob scene, so I braved it and got DD a princess keyboard for about $20 (reg. $39.90 w/ 40% off + additional 20% off) plus a Toddler Ariel doll that was reg. $10, so it came out to $8. Saw a neighbor while I was in line, so she tossed her stuff in with mine so she didn't have to stand in line!

Bath and Body Works
Saw a bunch of women in the back grabbing things, so when I investigated, they had Wallflowers for $5 and eveyone was going NUTS! So I grabbed a couple of sets for co-workers and my MIL. If you spent $30, you get a free Eau de Parfum (18.50 value), so I got that in a scent that another co-worker loves and I'll wrap that up and give it to her :cool1: Also got DD a new bath puff ($3) and me some of the Twisted Peppermint body wash ($12).

Gymboree
GYMBUCKS time!! Plus everything in the store was an additional 30% off! Jingle Deals! Sweaters and courderoys $18.38 each! Fell $1.48 short of a Gymbuck, so I got a pair of knickers and a fedora, which put me WAY over pirate: . But at least DD will look cute when I'm in the poor house!

Then it was off to Linens N Things, the grocery and HOME BY 11 A.M.! :cloud9:

Got to Staples at 5:20 and was about 30th in line. When the doors opened at 6:00, DH went to pick up memory cards ($14) and USB flashdrives. I was supposed to run back and get a 32 in. LCD television for $500. I didn't know how the system worked, so I was wandering around, and by the time I realized that you had to go get a ticket for the TV's, they were gone. I told my husband that I had failed and he went flying back over there, just as one last ticket was found or returned or something----so we got the TV.

Radio Shack at around 6:45 am: digital video cam for my son ($50) and $12 memory card.

Macy's at around 7:30 am: $60 7 in. digital picture frame and a $15 stock pot (had been $50.)

My first Black Friday and I enjoyed it immensely (except for the brief time when I had failed on my mission at Staples!)

I woke up at 3:30 (my alarm was set to go off at 4:45) and I tossed and turned until I realized I was too excited to sleep! My only definite planned stop was Bass Pro, but it didn't open until 6, so I decided to stop by Walmart...

Walmart - 2 CPK Snuggle Beans for $10/ea., and an Easy Bake Oven ($10)...$30 savings

Bass Pro Shops - 2-pack Shake lights, $12.88, Rechargeable Spotlight $4.88, Angler shirt $9.88, Moose blanket $4.88, and Camo Phone $29.98...$81.47 savings :cool1:

Toys R Us - Lizzie McGuire GBA game $7.49 and Strawberry Shortcake GBA game $9.99...$17.50 savings

The Disney Store - My Size Talking Ariel doll, $51.80(This is my FAVORITE bargain!!), Belle Pillow $8, and Princess Castle Pop-up playset $11.80...$101.90 savings :cheer2:

Wilson's Leather - jacket for DH $144...$36 savings

Total spent: $325.58

Total saved: $266.87

Not bad for my first Black Friday..w00h00!!! :woohoo:

stood in line at best buy to get a 50 inch toahiba plasma hdtv for $1699. I was up at 3. that is nothing though - the lady #1 in line had been there since 3pm thanksgiving day - that is nuts.

DH and I walked into Circuit City at 10:45am to inquire on the 50" Panasonic plasma TV for $1999.99. We ended up buying it, only the price was only $1399.99 after a $200 mail-in rebate AND the price included a wall-mount and free installation!!!!!! If we bought the TV w/out the "free wall-mount" and installation, the price would have been the $1999.99 advertised price.

http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Pana...46860/catOid/-12869/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do

Maryssasmom, you might want to see about getting the Panasonic at Circuit City for this price. The ratings are much higher on this TV and you will save a bunch of money. This is not the advertised price (which is actually $1999.99 for the 50"), but this is the price the store is honoring. You won't find a price this good for the size and top ratings (from Consumer Reports) than this! It is good through tomorrow (Saturday). We had to order ours since the had sold the last in-stock item so will have to wait a week to 10 days for it to arrive. For the savings though, I'm thrilled!

I picked up my Khols ad and went to Walmart. Where they price matched the leapster games for 16.99 each.

Some were reg 25, some 29.

:cool1:

We went out today with nothing in mind to buy. We didn't even get to a store til noon. Our main goal was to people watch and eat lunch! Anyway my mom wanted to get a shirt for my son for Christmas and wanted my help picking it out. We went over to Macy's and to the Nautica section. They had an entire table of Nautica dress shirts, casual shirts, polos, sweat pants and jackets for 50% off of the already reduced prices! I ended up getting DS a pair of sweats, a sweat coat, and 3 t-shirts for only $100! Unbelievable. The jacket was regularly $90 and I got it for $30. The pants were regularly $75 that I got for $25. What a bargain! I am so happy that I went out today!

Got the kids up and out the door just about 7am to head to "The Family Christian Store" where we found all that was on our list + some that was not! Ended up spending $92 and saving $140!! And it is all things, music CD's that we would have paid full price for sooner or later... books, movie and a couple of gifts!! Thought it would be busy, but getting there about 7:20 we were like the 4th or 5th people in there! But glad we went when we did because before we left most of the CD's I went there for were gone!

We left about 4:15 and got to Kohls first. The line was pretty long, but moved quickly when they started letting people in. They were out of Magic Bullets, darn! and I couldn't find the kids apron sets, but I did buy:

FP Toy for my nephew for 10.00 (50%off)
Pirate Pinball Machine - $29.99 (reg. 79.99)
Chutes and Ladders for 1.99 (after rebate)
Sweat Pants and Jacket for my sister - 9.99 each piece (50% off)

Then off to Target. I picked up:

Pirates of the Carribbean DVD game - $23.99
Vsmile Cartridge - $15.00
Memory Foam Pillow $13.00

Sears:
Picked up some tool gifts for relatives..all 50% off

Macy's
Coat regular 60.00, used my $10/25 coupon and it ended up being $26.00 total. Not bad!

Charlotte Russe:
They had 25% off everything you could stuff into a shopping bag so I got my sister pjs and really cute boot style slippers for $25.00 total.

CVS
CD walkman thing for 8.88

We were home by ten, I took a nap and I'm still exhausted!

I think I'm going to start wrapping stuff in a little while!
