Let's post our ADR's for those of us that aren't smart enough/lucky enough to be going during free dining.... I'm feeling left out here....


Here are mine:

5/5 Whispering Canyon @ 8:20pm
5/6 Crystal Palace @ 4:55pm (first time)
5/7 50's Prime Time Cafe
5/8 Boma @ 7:00 pm (first time)
5/9 Donald's Breakfast (AK) @ 8:00am (paying OOP ~ first time)
5/9 Ohana's @ 7:05pm for anniversary meal!
5/10 Liberty Tree Tavern @ 6:40pm for DS birthday (first time)
5/11 1900 Park Fare @ 4:40pm (for Cindy! ~ first time)
5/12 Mama Melrose @ 4:20pm (Fantasmic package ~ first time)
5/13 Chef Mickey's @ 8:10am


Any opinions/ suggestions on my "first times?" What are your ADR'S?

Am I the only one who's dumb enough to pay for the DDP?

No you are not. I am renting points and paying for the dining plan. Total cost for 9 nights of dining is $882 for 2 adult/2 kids, OKW 1 bedroom 9 day rental $2,000.00.

If I got free dining rack rate at OKW would be about $3600 for 9 days, plus having to buy 1 day tickets. I'm actually coming out cheaper by renting points and paying for the DDP.

I'm still saving money. Plus my trip ends a few days before free dining.

I dont have ADR's yet... however.... i too am paying for the DDP. I booked my trip a few months ago and I cant go away that late in the summer.

Besides... we are the smart ones by not going to FL in the middle of AUG!

We are renting points for BWV and also come out ahead even with paying for the DDP.
The ADR's we have so far:
7/31 - Le Cellier 7pm
8/1 - Rainforest Cafe 4:30 (OOP)
8/2 - LTT 4:10 (may change)
8/4 - Cape May Breakfast Buffet (character) 10:40

Still need one more TS which will probably be Ohana's, and may switch LTT to Whispering Canyon.

Don't worry - We're paying as well. We've dubbed this year's trip "Noshing Around the World"

Also, we will be spending two days at UO and plan on having lunch at Margaritaville and Hard Rock Cafe. Please feel free to critique!

I could have moved my trip around and saved some money, but my son has his heart set on Star Wars Weekend. So we'll stick with June.

Every one of these is a new experience for us. Not sure if we will come out ahead or not. My son is not a big eater, although he is a Disney "adult". But this will be our first DDP trip, so it will be an eating adventure if nothing else.

I paid for the plan on my trip last week and it was a BARGAIN!

Of course free is better, and that's why I'm going back in the Fall, but it is a bargain even if you're paying for it.

Our family of 3 is going 9/26-10/3 on the free dining.

But my parents are taking us in Dec. (group of 7) with the dining plan. It's still "free" for us, but they are paying for the plan.

Too early for ADRs yet, but this is what we have planned:

LTT for MVMCP
Coral Reef for CP
WCC
CM
B&C
H&V for FDP

I don't care about the free dining. Nobody and I mean nobody could get me to Florida in August!!! : Plus, anyways I already paid for the darn plane tickets so there is no looking back Anyways my ADR's for June are:

Captn Jacks (I know it gets so so reviews but it's close to SSR & on the plan)

Donalds breakfast (last day plan on doing EEAM & having late breakfast before we have to catch the bus)
