Possible Point Range for Atlantis

One last thing I forgot to post! We were told that the point range for the Atlantis will be close to the point range for the Plaza in NYC. I only asked about the Atlantis (personal favorite), so I don't have info on the other two new properties. I was told to do the Atlantis for a long weekend "will not bankrupt your points".

Very cool! Cora, thank you for all of the great information. I'd love to go to the Atlantis. I also love the idea of "front of the line" perk for DVC members, as mentioned in your previous post.

If they are concidering a point value close to the plaza I'll pass 50 -60 points a night to expencive I don't feel it's worth it!
You travel that far You need to stay at least a week and with those rates no way

It's good to have a rough idea what the point range will be -- thanks for the info. Did they indicate which hotel it will be? If it's for the Tower it sounds likes it would be a reasonable point amount.

Disneydom, I think all the Concierge Collection options are geared toward the shorter 2-4 night stay. For longer trips, the II trades are probably the better value. While Paradise Island is a hop from CT (although I think a long weekend would be possible), it's a very short trip for the many DVC'ers that live in Florida and other Southern states.

On a side note, I wonder if The Plaza will stay in the program down the line. It's just been sold again and the new owners are planning to convert some of the rooms into luxury condos.
