possible...cancelling Thanksgiving trip...

I hope everything works out - whatever you decide to do. We used to take the kids out of school for trips and the teachers never seemed to have a problem with it. In fact, since we used to drive (1100 miles one way!) taking their homework with us was a good way to keep them occupied on the way down and back. A few years ago after one of the many administration changes, they put a policy in effect for the high schoolers, that if they miss 2 or less days (regardless of whether they are excused or unexcused) and are passing the class they do not have to take semester tests for that class. Ever since that put that in place my boys haven't wanted to miss school for Disney.
