Thanks CAnn for starting this thread. I'm trying to be little more positive this year.......
Like a PP, I'm from Pittsburgh, so the news about the orphans from Haiti is so encouraging in the face of all that tragedy.
I finally got DH to sit down and give his opinions on our summer vacation this year - we're heading out to Mt. Rushmore, one of the many places on my bucket list. Our boys are 18 and 20, so we don't have too many years left when they'll be travelling with us. Made our hotel res. over the weekend, and today I'm going to book the flights. This is when I can start getting excited because now it's REAL.

Gosh - where do the years go?? He's in band and plays the sax (she plays clarinet).. Of course all of this is "hush-hush" from her dad because she really believes that he's going to run out and buy a shot gun when she starts showing an interest in "boys"..
So when she talks to me about him she uses a "code name" (which of course is a girls name).. She's as giddy as all get out, but it's cute to watch her going through her first case of "puppy love"..

(But I DO!
