Hi - I just got a set of US/IOA maps from someone on ebay. They're from the week of Christmas, so I'm wondering if that had an effect. But it showed both Poseidon's Fury and the Sindbad show as only operating Tues-Sun. Is this normally the case or was it just because of the holidays (Xmas eve/day) being those days? We're going in August and of course will be spending Sun and Mon at the parks so I'm just wondering if we'll miss those. How critical are they if they are closed? We'll be onsite those days but will have the 7 day passes so could come back a couple days later to just hit those rides if they're really great. Thanks for your help!

When are you going? Sindbad will be closed the first of February for a few weeks. It used to be just seasonal but seems to be open most of the year now. Posiden is open 7 days a week. Sindbad can sometimes be hit or miss. You'll have to wait until near the time of your trip and we can let you know the schedule for Sindbad.

Sindbad is a fine stunt show but I personally can handle missing it. On the other hand I was disappointed when Poseidon wasn't on in Oct. 2005 and relieved when I once again got to see it in Aug. 2006. It rates as not to be missed in my book. Only wish it wasn't a walk through, I would love to have a seat for that show.

We'll be there August 5 & 6 at RPR. But we do have a semi-open day that Thursday (Aug 9) that we could head back if we needed/wanted to, but wouldn't have the Express passes. Guess I'll ask again before we leave the end of July and see what's going on then!

Thanks!

In October 05, Posiedon was used as a haunted house for Halloween Horror Nights. Therefore it was closed for quite some time because of that.
