Portofino vs. RPR

I'm staying 7/27-31. I have the RPR booked at 215$ a night using APH discount. Looking at the choices now. The Portofino Bay is $199 a night, saving around $60 dollars for the entire stay. Is it worth it to switch? We're just going for a quick stay, want to be close to the parks, etc. It seems the PB is a little farther away, but seems to be the #1 hotel. I think I am going to switch, but want some opinions here. $60 will cover the valet parking haha.

I'd switch for $60. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are larger. The walk to the parks is longer than from Royal Pacific but it is still a short walk.

Cool. I'm going to call now and get it taken care of. An extra 5 minutes really won't seem like anything. The boats are still there as an option if we get too drunk. Besides I just booked the RPR for a little graduation present to myself at the end of the month for 129$! So, I'll get to see that hotel too

I would switch too. The room size alone would make up my mind. It is further to the parks but not a biggie. You have more food options, more pools and a slide!

I would switch if the PBH was $60 more but when it's less than the RPR, well that's a no-brainer.
