Does anyone know the cost? Or tell me your experience - I don’t like the idea of waiting until 9:00 for the DCL buses to go to WDW. We used to leave the ship at 7:30, take a DCL bus, get to our WDW hotel and hit the ground running @ the parks by 9:30. Now, we need to do something else.

No personal experience, but I would guess between $100 and $150 depending on what size car you need. You might also need to add return tolls for the driver to get home. Uber doesn't have reservations so if no one picked up the ride you would be stuck or have to get a cab which would be more expensive. I think Lyft does allow you to reserve ahead of time. A car service might be similarly priced.

Have you tried to estimate the fare with the uber app? Wait until the day of the week your cruise ends (if your cruise docks on Sat, check it this Sat morning) at around the time you plan to disembark. You can see what type of fare estimate you get at that time and how long it would take for a car.

There are good discussions and personal experience on this topic if you search Trip Advisor.

I was also going to recommend Tony. We used him for mco to universal and back this summer. He's excellent and reasonably priced.
I hardly think Tony is reasonable -he just quoted me $190 one way port to WDW for 2 passengers

Last year I paid $210 for round trip with a grocery stop. Year before was $120 one way. And this was for a van with 7 people. I wonder if he misunderstood and quoted round trip ??

Sorry. Have not used him to get to the port but I knew he did that route. I used him to get from mco to universal and back and for that he was reasonable.

I got a quote from him as well, I think it’s reasonable. Just more nervous about booking private transport and having them not show up!!
He is super reliable. I learned about him on the Universal Board and my experience was excellent.
