My mom is 84 and cannot walk long distances. We will have a transporter wheelchair with us. It would be fun to take the boat from Port Orleans (we will be staying in Alligator Bayou) to show her the Adventure's Club. Doable? Is there a close dock to Pleasure Island? We tried this once before by driving over, getting valet parking then making the long trek to AC, only to find it closed for a private party. We drug the kids and my mom there only to turn around and go back. Don't want to mess this up again!

Thanks in advance,
Carla

The boat only takes you to downtown disney then you have to walk to the AC.
Generally the boat stops on the side of the market place where the Rainforest is, however during very busy periods it also stops on the opposite side of the market place (near Fultons) which is closer to the AC. (that is unless Disney has changed the schedule again)
I would call the AC to ask about the night you want to visit before going.
It's still a good walk from there to the club
