port orleans riverside refurbishment

Hi all,
could any of you helpful people answer me the following,

we are staying at riverside in late Oct.I am assuming we will be put in Aligator Bayou as we are 2 adults and 3 kids (trundle bed requested)

Are the refurbishments of Aligator still ongoing or are they now complete?
I was planning on requesting any of the following buildings-14,15,16,17,18 &27.My idea being close proximity to the main buildings for our young kids.

All opinions and experiences of these buildings would be most gratefuly recieved.Thankyou.

All renovations at POR were completed in early April. The rooms look great.
IMO bldgs. 14 & 18 are the most convenient, the others you mention are also good.

Buildings 14, 15, & 18 are close to the main building. All have been redone.

We stayed in bldg 16 in March for Spring Break, it was clean, quiet, renovated, and close to the bus stop and main bldg. It also looked like all of the bldgs around us had been renovated as well. (That would be the bldgs you mentioned requesting). Hope you love it as much as we do! Don't miss breakfast at Boatwrights for sure...soooo gooood!
