We will be staying at POR for two nights (Jan. 1 - Jan. 3, 2015). When making the reservation, I asked for a room fairly close to the main buildings, food court, etc. as my daughter has a spine and leg defect and we'd like to minimize the amount of extra walking she has to do as much as possible. I also requested Alligator Bayou as she will be more comfortable having her own bed (we are a family of 4). Just wondering if there is anything else I should do to (hopefully) have these requests fulfilled....?? I think I asked for bldg. 14 or 18 - can't remember off the top of my head!
ok, so I understand bldgs. 14 & 18 are preferred....does anyone else who has stayed there have a recommendation for which buildings I should be requesting? Anything else I can do to help to limit the amount of walking my daughter must do? She's a trooper but we are going to be there 11 days so I am trying to do whatever little things I can to make this a magical trip for her! TIA!![]()
Our reservation is for a Pool View Royal Room. How far (estimated) will we be from the South Depot and East Depot?
We booked a garden view room. So should I also ask/request a for building 14 or 18 as well?
Sorry, I am just now starting to investigate my options of what to do and will read a few more posts tonight.

If we have 8:15 am Cp ADRs and ant to be at at the entrance to MK at 8 am.. what time should we leave POR?
Thanks!
Wow what a week! Never thought I could do so much in one week! WDW, Universal, Busch Tampa, and even Sea World! We needed this escape. Just catching up with everyone's posts.
Sounds like fun! Welcome back!
I am going to pm you this week if that is ok, I need to fax in my request on Friday and would love a 2nd set of eyes please if that is possible?

We are arriving at POR on Sunday for our Disneymoon, and I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of hair dryers they have. I read on the POP thread that the in-room wall mounted hair dryers are being replaced with traditional hair dryers, and I'm curious if this change has made it's way to POR yet or not. I have really thick hair that just LOVES the Florida humidity and with a good hair dryer it takes upwards of 20 minutes to get my hair to dry. I'd love to save some weight in my luggage by not bringing my powerful dryer from home!
I would leave at 7:00ish if you are driving or busing to allow for time for travel, walking, and bag check. Any later than 7:15 would be iffy with all the travel variables.
I love going early for CP and getting those great shots of having the park all to ourselves as we go down Main Street! Enjoy!!![]()
