We're there in five days and the excitement is almost too much to take!!! We have 3DDs, 10, 7, and turning 5 while we're there, and they don't know we're going!! I'm bursting at the seams from all of this!!! Have a great trip!

You are so good not to say anything! There was no way we could keep it from my kids. But for my12 year old son, we used it as a tool to earn some money the last few months and he's done amazingly well with it. He's earned over $100 that he can spend in Disney. We probably will see you down there! If you see a 2 1/2 year old little girl screaming and telling us NO, than that's probably us!

How do you know you have an AB room? If you booked Standard and you're not a family of 5 you could be in Magnolia Bend.

All preferred rooms are also in Alligator Bayou. So if you book one of these as any size of party you are also guaranteed certain AB buildings. This is what I have done.

MICKEY MAIL: It varies sometimes it can even be 2-3 weeks out before you receive it. Don't worry if it gets down to 2 weeks and still nothing, PM me and Ill get you in touch with Magical Express.

I'm at 15 and still don't have it :-(. I called my TA last week and she said it mailed on July 30. I am in Canada but I still don't know why it takes so long..it seems to go faster if you book directly through Disney.

It's not easy, Disney's forced redirect fights you every step of the way to get to the full My Disney Experience site from outside of the US. There are ways to bypass it by reprogramming the cookies in Firefox to fool it though.

I don't drink, so the Frozen Orange Burst smoothie gets my vote, very refreshing.

Venomhatch and others, any ideas about why there is such a variance? Two people here have now stated they received their packets at 50+ days out while others have said as little as 2 weeks before. I am having a hard time guessing why it is so inconsistent. People leaving more than a month after me have already received a packet. Makes no sense! I am in the US by the way, if that matters, have been paid off for awhile now and used online check in. I want my packet so I can try using the DME number to reserve a BOG lunch.

A work around for Canadians..
1. Install firefox
2. Install the anonymoX extension for firefox
3. Set your Identity in anonymoX to US
4. Restart firefox and navigate to my Disney experience website

I received my DME packets about 35 days out and my Mickey Mail about 10 days after that, so at about 25 days out. I just looked at the postmark on my DME envelope and it is 7/11/13. We check in om 8/18/13.
