Does anyone have any feedback regarding the Magical Express luggage dropoff? Our flight will get in around 415pm putting us to POR by 515 (hopefully) so what are your opinions on using their luggage service? good/bad?

We never had any problems with it but now we travel lighter. One carry on suitcase each, and we do laundry half way through. My wife starts it while I get us breakfast which we eat pool side. Then off to the parks. One day with a late start doesn't hurt, and we don't have to wait for our luggage at the end of the trip.

We love it! But, always pack a change of clothes and some necessities in our carry-ons. Keep in mind it might take up to 3 hours to get your luggage. It has never taken that long for us. Closer to the 2 hour mark. It's much easier for us than getting our own bags because we also have a stroller and two little dudes with us!

Gonna try doing laundry this trip as we will be there 10 days and I don't want to pack 10+ outfits for my messy kiddos (and swim stuff, diapers, etc, etc)!

Bless you all with 3 boys. I can't handle the 2 boys I have...it's craziness! (This coming from someone with only sisters) I love them dearly and have learned lot from them but I guess it is a good thing my 3rd was a girl. My heart couldn't handle it, I'm a nervous wreck as it is!

My oldest is 5 years older than my middle and is the easiest child ever so I'm lucky. The younger 2 are 18 mos apart and pretty much drive me crazy.

Where are the laundry facilities at POR? We have only stayed at value before, and those were next to the pools in buildings.

Same thing at PORn the laundry facilities are near the quiet pools

Yes, and POR AB is perfect for my family. Woodsy and boyish with just a touch of princess Tiana! LOL!
That must be the key then, if you want calm, don't have 2 boys a year and a half apart!

You are correct. Only at the main pool.

I would be very surprised if the bedspreads were washed even that often. They are thick quilted over-bed 'comforter' style covers, not duvet covers. The sheets would be washed between guests obviously, and presumably at some point during longer stays too (maybe weekly? Not sure).

OMG OMG OMG 3 more days! I seriously can't believe it's like HERE!!! We are soooo excited! All packed, all ready to go! Everyday my 2 1/2 year old is saying "I see the Mouse!". We soo need this vacation!

Good luck with the granddaughters - my DH is oldest of 4 boys - we had the first grandbaby - let's just say at 10yrs old she is still Nana's princess.

Don't be nervous! Busses can be bad at any time, at any resort. There's no resort that has perfect busses without waits. But, we've never had any issues at any resort in November! It's our favorite time in the parks and the crowds are great.

AB is the best for us too - DD (10), DS (8) and DS (6) - not sure I'll get any calm but sure is nice to have the fun. My 3 are looking forward to taking turns using the Murphy Bed in November. They have a schedule worked out already and everything.

39 days out for me and no DME package for me yet. If I don't have it by the end of this week, I'm going to call and ask about it.

I'm 39 days as well and haven't received mine yet either.

How far is the walk from the furthest away room to the food court or a bus stop generally? I'm considering moving to this resort- but it's still a maybe and depends on what Mum says too.

So can I request I get bedspreads/comforters that have been washed before we get in the room? Would I fax it in?

Yeah, I'm sure if you fax in a special request a bit before you arrive they would do that for you, especially if it's for some particular medical reason.
