Well, I think it sent but I don't see it in my sent box so I'll send it again, just in case!

Got it read it sent you a message back. Sending you some Pixie Dust!

Happy Friday Venom,

We arrive at POR on 11/16 and I've developed my fax request. I know you get a lot of requests to preview these to make sure they are clearly written - may I trouble you to proof mine? If we arrive Saturday 11/16, when should I fax over? Tuesday? Wednesday?

Thanks -this thread has really helped me plan our family trip!

Send it to me via Private Message ill give it a look here shortly.

In 10 days I will be at POR! Haven't been there since the early 90s so I'm excited to be back. Have stayed at POP and CSR in the past couple of years and loved them both, but my dad and mom are going with me and they wanted to stay at POR. Since its so pretty there, I had no objections :)

Yes you can. There is a hard plastic round container that is a certain price for it no matter how many pieces you can get in there. And they have just about any type of Lego piece you could think of. I'm sorry I don't remember the price. Probably way too much.:scared1:

Thanks so much!!

About the Fax overlook. It was no problem at all!

5 days to go!!! :cheer2:

And just wanted to pop in (as a long-time lurker) and say how much I have appreciated everyone's tips in this thread during all my long hours of planning our trip!! Huge thanks to you all!! :flower3:

Just revised and updated the template so future guests may use it. Link is in my signature.

Just got pixie dustedpixiedust: and was able to grab a 4 night AP reservation at POR for the last half of our stay (first half at BWI)!!! We had to book a pool view since it was the only view available, moved from CBR:cool1:

Does anyone have suggestions for a pool view request? Just me and DH.

For those of you that mail a package to the resort prior to your trip.....how do you address the box? Do you write "c/o" or "hold for"? Your reservation #? I just don't want to mess this up....lol

Hi, does anyone know if the refrigerators have been replaced at POR yet? We are arriving next week and I was wondering. Thanks

Not all refrigerators have been replaced. See The beginning of the thread for the latest update.

213 days until we will be at Disney.... The days aren't moving fast enough!

Quick question. Are handicapped rooms and preferred rooms different categories or are their handicapped rooms in the preferred catagory?

I have had my TA forward my packet to the resort because we were traveling to other places before wdw and wouldn't be home to get our resort packet.

It was mailed to POR, with info hold for guest xyz arrival & date of our check in.

Thanks Sue, but I guess I didn't word that properly....lol....what I meant was shipping a box to the resort via UPS.

12 days left for us. Bringing my inlaws for their first stay at POR (or any mod). Hope they love it!

:offtopic: (Asked on the transportation board, with no luck):

I noticed your location and was wondering if you might be able to answer a quick question for me. We will be driving to WDW on a Friday and will likely be passing thru Atlanta in the afternoon. We want to try to avoid the worst part of the rush hour. Do you happen to know what the worst times to be driving thru might be?

:cheer2:Yay! Yesterday must have been a good day for last minute POR ressies. I'd been calling for weeks trying to get one night added to the beginning of my FD res. Finally got it yesterday! We like POR better than CBR. Good move!;)

I'm not the poster you were asking, but thought I'd take a shot at your question since I lived in ATL for many years, and we drive through there now when traveling to WDW. Since you will be traveling south, I-75 north of downtown shouldn't be too bad (most people will be going north), but once you get close to downtown, there will be a lot people traveling south of downtown. Atlanta's suburbs are extremely sprawling in every direction. I would say, especially on a Friday, that you want to be going through downtown Atlanta no later than 3:00 p.m. Hope that helps.

Weird question - I've heard at some resorts that if you don't take the refridgerator, you get a $15 credit. Does anyone know if this is true for POR?

From reading other posts, my understanding is that if you request a fridge and they cannot provide one then you may request the credit. If you don't request a fridge and do not have one, it is not an automatic credit as most folks were notified that the amenity was not available. On this thread, most guests have been getting a fridge after requesting one. Of course they do their best to fill medical requests first.
