Connects very prompt too!!+

Dang, I missed it by just a few weeks. I had my iPod Touch along, and was really surprised that there wasn't any WiFi at POR or the parks. It would have been cool to email my friends back home and send them photos from my trip.
I'll remember for next time though! :thumbsup2

so with the new trundles on the box top setup this would make only under 9 fit. Am I right? and no more blow up mattresses. Are these sturdy enough for someone over 9? I am guessing not.

So has anyone been given a refurbished room in AB #14 or #38 yet? Both should be open now I think.

Not sure about #39 though - did that get started, or did they move straight over to do #14 instead?

Andre

Just lovely. When seeing all of your pictures as we do here, it makes me resolve to walk the resort more when I'm there in March and spend a little more time taking it all in. Thanks for that! :)

KCmike- beautiful as always! :thumbsup2

Beautiful, that's all I have to say!

Thanks you three. I do love to walk the resort. We usually schedule at least one day "off" from the parks and other activities to just sit back and relax.

I would think it would fit anyone under say 5'10" I think. If your talking about the trundle? But not 9 to a room.

I'm 5'4" #130 and it was ok for me. I would think a 5'10" person it would be way too small for. Our 6 yr old daughter slep on it and it was perfect for her.

Did you sleep on the new trundle that is on top of a box or the old one that used to slide out from the bed? I think the new trundle would not work for anyone of any weight above what an average 9 year old weighs but I may be wrong. The old trundles were easy as they were at floor level and not on top of a box with drawers underneath.

I love to walk around too. Got off one day at the furthest bus stop in AB to walk back to Parterre Pl. Last Aug went to explore the fishing hole, a place i havne't been. Very pretty and peaceful. The CM there was great to talk to, very informative.

On the day we were leaving, I was taking my last walk around Old Man Island and stopped at the Fishing Hole for some photos. Kenny, the CM, was there. What a great guy. He asked how I was doing. I told him I was sad because we were leaving. He reminded me that I could always come back. He was actually able to make me laugh and feel good despite everything. Then he offered to take my picture at the end of the dock. I'm really glad I stopped by.
If you're headed to POR and happen to see Kenny at the Fishing Hole, tell him that Ken says Hello.:)

It is constructed to take some weight similar to murphy beds. Personally I would rather be sleeping on a murphy bed, then a mattress on the floor.

The WIFI is automatically detected by my Ipad and 1-click...BAM! ......(sorry...tech-speak is severely lacking...:).......)

As for the new "Murphy bed"...my best guess is those over 5 foot-6 inches would be quite uncomfortable....(my 5-4 daughter has been fine in it for a week now though).

Got back Saturday night!

We got both of our requests, ground floor & in building 38, room 3803, brand new refurbed room, 1st family in it! It was awesome! & we had no problem having 6 of us in the room. The 10 yr old slept on the fold down bed just fine &
slept very well, he said it was very comfortable. We had very little bickering or fighting between the 3 older boys which was great!
My pics look exactly like others posted, love the Princess & the Frog details & a lot of the smaller room details. We had amazing mousekeeping the whole trip, perfect weather, awesome trip. Building 38 was a great location, about 10-15 minute walk to the food court, lobby, etc. & about 5 minutes to the North Depot bus stop. My only complaint was the small trash can! For a family of 6, the poor little thing filled up very, very fast, lol.
