I have a question about the YeeHaw (is that right?) Bob show.....how long does it last?

Garden View rooms are available in all sections of Port Orleans. I'm quite surprised a search didn't work for you, as when I Googled "Port Orleans Garden View" and "Port Orleans Garden View building", the first three or four results (all of which were from portorleans.org :cool1: ) contained the info you need. I'd suggest the best page to check for further info would be http://www.portorleans.org/room-req...d even looked at videos in YouTube. Linda :)

He doesn't even take a break? WOW. I'm going to need some of that energy for the next morning after his show :faint:

He actually does take a break (for pictures and autographs) around 10 pm. We usually go to the 8:30 set and leave after getting pictures with Bob.

So I have another question......as you can see I've nothing else to do except watch football and keep up with my fantasy football team....... :happytv:

We have the FD booked with our Dec 10-17th package and we are staying at POR. We have a room only booked for Dec 9th, also at POR. Will we have to get new KTTW for our package starting on the 10th or will the front desk just "load up" our KTTW with our FD and park hoppers once the package starts on the 10th? :confused3 How does that work since we want to go to a park on the 9th? I know we have to go to a guest services counter to get an extra day added on to our tickets, that much I understand. I was just wondering about our room key part and how they know what we paid for, etc...

We had a marvelous trip, and even experienced a little pixie dust of our own. On Wednesday afternoon, we were at the Magic Kingdom, and getting ready to head to the Grand Floridian for our dinner at 1900 Park Fair.
We decided to watch the Flag Retreat, and were talking to one of the cast members on crowd control in the meet and greet circle by the flag pole.
While we were talking, one of the organizers for the flag retreat, came up and asked if I was the veteran of the day that had been selected. I told him that I had not been selected this time, and he walked away. The person they had selected was a no show, and they asked me if I would be willing to fill in.
Of course I was thrilled to do it.

Wow! What a great honor.

Yes. Make sure it's on your original booking too (phone the reservations center to do that) and then fax a confirmation to the resort around 3-5 days out.

Andre

I didn't put in a specific room request in my original booking. At the time I didn't know anything; just started reading this site. ;) I booked through a TA. Can I still call reservations center and add a request?
I'm thinking it would just be easier if I wait and check in at the resort and ask for a request. It's not going to make or break my trip anyway. lol

Yes you can still call them and add requests to your reservation. We have booked through AAA in the past and they have still added them calling in directly to Disney!

i just placed an order for water and gatorade using the portorleans.org webcsite.... it has the wrong package delivery info.... ugh

I can't the order canceled, so i am on the phone now with Disney....

You can pick up your tickets up to three days before the package starts. Check post #15-I in the ticket sticky.

I read that twice, which is how I knew I needed to go to a GSO to request early ticket pickup....I was just wondering if I'll be getting two sets of KTTW since I have 2 reservations (one for the Room Only and one for the MYW package w/FD). 90 days out for us :goodvibes

It runs from about 8:30 to 11ish.

Hi, I read elsewhere that the show runs until midnight. Which time is correct? I may change an upcoming stay to meet a friend at POR but we won't be able to arrive until after 11pm so I just want to see if it makes sense to go over. :)

Now that you're so close anyway, it might be worth just faxing at 5 days out if you can't get your request added to the booking on the computer.

The shipping information is correct on portorleans.org as far as sending mail and postal packages to the resort is concerned. However having your weekly shopping and groceries delivered to a hotel room :) is a bit of a different thing though, so maybe I should add a mention about that in the Mail section, as it does seem to be something more and more people are doing...

Hi, I read elsewhere that the show runs until midnight. Which time is correct?

The second half of the show usually wraps up around 11.45 or so, so photos/autographs/etc are all done by midnight. First half is 8:30-10, then a short break (if you can call it that - Bob spends it chatting to people, doing photos, etc) and then 10:15-11:45ish for the second half.

Hi,
We will be staying at Port Orleans Riverside for the first time in about a month. We have visited the resort (way to many times, lol), and eaten at Boatwright and the food court place several times, but really longed to stay there. The double beds were the catch for us. Now that they refurbed the rooms with queens it was an easy decision to try it out.
Just have a few questions. If we request an Alligator Bayou room, does that mean that the room will have queen beds and the new murphy type bed guaranteed.?
Also, our fight in is very late, we prob wont get to POR much before midnight, possibily later. Can we get anything to eat that late at night, or should we grab a bite to eat at the airport. We will be using ME, so no way to stop anywhere!
We cant wait for our stay at POR. We have stayed at a bunch of the deluxe resorts, but we always really wanted to stay at POR. It seems like just another deluxe resort to us, the theming is great, possibilly better than some of the deluxes imho! Shhhh..........better not let WDW hear that, lol.
Anyway got a great rate of $134.25 per night, it was a no-brainer!

Thanks,
Syndrome

As a person who did that last trip, yes, you will end up with more KTTW cards than you know what to do with. :rotfl: Seriously, though, you will have three sets: (1) the keys to your room only check-in, (2) the ones that have your park passes that you pick up at Guest Relations, and then (3) the last (and only) ones you will need are the package ones that include your room key and park passes when you check in for your 2nd reservation for FD.

Hope this helps and have a great day!!!!

Just faxed in my building request for building 16 AB building! Hope it works out for us!!!! We leave Friday!!
