Andre, I think Venom is begging to take pictures, whether you need them or not, LOL.

Haha I agree!
Venom, I would love you to take some pictures. I am so excited about our trip - the resort looks wonderful and everyday I hear such great stuff about the staff there, more so than any other resort. It is going to be the perfect place for my parents 42nd wedding anniversaryI'm not sure who is more excited about the Royal rooms - my 11yr old daughter or my 62yr old mother

We are a family of 4 Me, DH, DS9, DD3 we have already gotten the kids all ready for the Royal Rooms and they are so excited but my mom wants to go now which is great and we are happy but didn't know if we can still stay in the Royal room we have a toddler cot that our 3yr old sleeps on so we wouldn't need a murphy bed but I didn't know if they will let you do that. Thanks!!!

We are here now in AB building 35. The Murphy bed mattress is attached with Velcro and can be removed. It is 25 inches high and lower than the queen beds. My 4'8" and 70 pound 9 year old fits great and loves it!
HmmmmMethinks I will have to try this .... I will report back

Minor annoyances: High Speed Internet Access is no longer available.
I had also booked a King Bed through Expedia but was told that when Expedia passed my info along to the hotel, they had me down for a regular Garden View room.
Andre, PO is my families favorite resort. I know quite a bit about it. I'm looking for additional pixie dust ideas for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. It will be their first time staying onsite. Also, the day of arrival is their actual anniversary date. I plan to do a carriage ride, the anniversary button and I am aware of Disney florist. What other ideas do you have? My budget is not unlimited.
Andre - which is your favourite? POR or POFQ? And why? If you had to choose!!![]()
So say, Andre, if you wanted multiple pools, where would you stay? If you like little walking and need beignets till they are coming out your ears, where would you stay.
Shame about the wired wi-fi, I wish they had kept it too but I believe it was supplied by an external company so I guess it wasn't worth keeping on. Personally I'd have just connected the same wires straight into the Disney Network Switches that they must have in each building, but hey I guess it's all extra cost.
Andre
With the wired one I never saw any loss in speed.
Typo corrected, ooops.
I was never overly impressed with the speed of the cabled HSIA (just 1 Mb/s) but at least it was consistent.
Andre
I posted a separate thread about this, but I thought the POR fans would find it funny.
Apparently, the AKL Jambo House is in the woods near the entrance to POR.

[A fellow Dis-er has already reported it to Google as wrong.]
did anyone stay at POR last April? If so can you remember what the % off the room was with the code that was out? thanks![]()
