Just faxed my request to POR. We have a king bed room booked and I just requested a River view in building 85, 38, 27, or 80. Keeping my fingers crossed but will be happy regardless! I will let you all know how it goes! Thank you Venom for the template and all of your help!!

Okay, so I phoned and changed our reservation to a preferred room and have drafted my fax for early December requesting building 18, northwest side! Debated a river view room, as you suggested Andre, but I'm holding out hope for the lush garden views around the quiet pool by 18!

Now the mantra begins... please no parking lot, please no parking lot, please no parking lot...

Can't wait to hear the words 'welcome home'! Thanks everyone for your help.

Nice choice for buildings I liked that pool also it was very convenient during one of our stays.

LOL... just not sure how those around me will enjoy it when I drop to my knees at check in...

To be honest, most of the garden view rooms in the Preferred section are nice, they all look out over woods, streams, pathways or even the quiet pool area. Good luck, and hopefully you'll do fine as there are a lot more garden-type views in 14/15/18/27 than there are parking lot ones.

You're very welcome, it's nice to be able to help visitors make the most of their vacations. Such large resorts, with so many options, can get pretty daunting, especially to first-timers.

Hi Venom. A while back you helped me out with a contact and email for someone at French Quarter. I contacted for DH's aunt who I really wanted to have a wonderful trip. All the requests that we talked about were met for her! She had the most magical time and enjoyed her room.

I didn't hear anything about my fax request last month for POFQ and we got EVERYTHING I asked for.
