Hi....in the unlikely event I need to change resorts from AoAa to a moderate, we will most likely choose POR FQ due to the size and only 1 bus stop unlike the others.
I see that it only has 1 pool??? Is the resort that much smaller than the others that it only needs 1 pool?

I imagine it is really crowded too. Anyone have an experience there?

it is definitely smaller than the other moderates - have never seem the place really, really crowded - like POR or CBR - it probably can but I have never seem it.

It is smaller and has only 1 pool, but the pool isn't any more crowded than other resorts because of the small size of the resort. Plus, POFQ guests can also use POR pools. Tour groups and sports teams do not stay at POFQ, so that helps with the pool crowding. There is only 1 bus stop, but sometimes buses also go to Riverside. When they do share, POFQ is picked up and dropped off first. I really loved POFQ and would definitely stay there again.

We like the 'smaller' resorts. The only other mod we stayed at was CBR and did not like it. Too big and we hated all the bus stops just to get out of the resort.
However, we liked all the pools.

well when POFQ shares POR it has about the same amount of bus stops - that say POR is much better organized than CBR.

think the only place that don't share is the MK.

Hmm, didn't know that they shared buses. I thought it had its own. That may definitely change my mind then on PORFQ. Thanks.

Is the pool as big as the main one at CBR do you know?

I stayed at POFQ on a girl's weekend. We liked the pool very much, it was never crowded when we were there. And it was HOT so we were there pretty much every day that week.

When we stayed at POFQ, it did not share a bus with POR any of the time we were there for a 10 day stay. It was during a busy time in June too. Even if only a few people got on the bus, the bus never went to POR.

In regards to the pool, we never found it too crowded. It was busy, but not near as busy as the one at Pop by a long shot. We did have a tour group from Brazil staying there part of the time too, but still it wasn't bad.

Yes, the resort is remarkably smaller than the other resorts. It has such a quaint, quiet feel.

We really enjoyed our stay here!

We stay at POFQ and only shared buses with POR during the late morning and afternoon on the last couple of trips.

Maybe sharing the bus with POR depends on the season. We were at POR last March and we never had a bus stop at FQ the whole time.

POR does have more pools...if you want a "quiet" pool or to use their main pool, you might want to go over there. Disney does allow pool hopping between these resorts...kind of a bonus to stay at them since you have more pool choices. When we went over to check out POFQ's pool, we noticed it was considerably smaller than the main pool at POR and the slide at FQ was pretty tame. It would be a great slide for little kids or kids that are kind of timid in the water. At least the day we went there, there were very few people at the pool.

We just came back from a 10 night stay. It was January, but we had some warm days and the pool was not crowded. I was always able to find a couple of lounges too, we like the back of the pool, away from things. My kids are adults now, and don't need to watch children in the pool Even in January there were lots of lounges taken. I don't know ow it would be in summer.

We had great bus service and never had to go around Por Riverside.

When we stayed last June we did have one day where it was hard to get chairs by the pool. The pool itself wasn't crowded - just actual towels put on lounge chairs to hold them I guess.

We shared the bus with Riverside almost the whole trip. I was surprised but didn't really feel that it took too long. It was almost like staying at say CBR where there are multiple bus stops.
