POR vs WL for afternoon break

what is the time difference to travel back to POR and WL from MK for afternoon break? We will be traveling end of Feb. 2016 (quieter time of year all things relative) and DD 3/will need some down time in the afternoon. We have POR RR booked and really want this but WL may be more practical with boat to and from MK.

Well, from MK you can take either the boat or a bus. With either mode, you have to wait for the boat or bus to get there, then travel to WL. Travel time to WL would be less than POR though. WL from MK should run about 30 mins as long as you don't have a longish wait time. To POR could be the same timing but I would figure on 45 mins. I usually take the boat to WL from MK...I've never taken the bus, not even sure if it shares with another resort.

I thought the buses from WL share with the campground, but may be wrong. It's always hard to estimate travel time, because it's all about the timing! You stroll up when a bus or boat is just leaving and you may easily have 15-20 minutes to wait for the next (especially mid-day). If you happen upon a bus or boat just arriving and can get right on, your time is much shorter. Of course that is true for any of the transportation!

Meant to add that, given that, I'd just go with whichever one you'd prefer and not worry so much about the transportation. Unless you're within walking distance or on the monorail loop, all the others can be pretty much luck of the draw.

Is MK the only park you will visit? Because POR will be a much shorter trip from the other 3 parks, than WL.

We will just be visiting MK but I think since we really want POR Royal Rooms we will tough it out. Our daughter loves princesses and I think will be blown away by the room. Thanks for the info!
