POR roll call for Sept. 2012

Hi Everyone!

I thought it would be fun to start a thread for Sept. POR guests. Simply list your stay dates at POR. I think it will be fun to know who we might run into at the resort during our stay.

Sept. 15-23 (First DW vacation, a relative will be at our house while we are gone so, it will even be clean when I get back lol)

We booked 2 preferred rooms for Sept 12-20!! YAY! It will be DH, DS, DD, my parents, myself, and hopefully my brother will make up his mind soon and there will also be my brother, wife, and 2 kids!!! First time at Riverside for us, we are pumped!

How are things in Woodstock and can you get me a blue cheese burger from Canyons? I have family in Canton, Marietta, and Powder Springs. We visit the area a lot!

We are booked for Sept 9 - 15 with Free Dining AND in a Royal Guest Room!!

Originally we booked with a room only discount for standard view. Then got another pin code that got us the RGR for a little less for the discounted standard room. Then free dining came out and we were able to keep the RGR! We later had the option to downgrade back to a standard room, but decided the savings on Free Dining were significant enough, so we kept the RGR and not pocket the additional savings.

This trip is our first ever family vacation as a family of four. It will be to celebrate my kids' birthdays (both in September), and we are going the week of our 10th wedding anniversary! I'm so excited and can't wait!

I've been to Disney a few times growing up and a couple of times as an adult, but this is our first time staying at a resort. Past trips have always only been single day visits while staying with family nearby.

I also got all our first choice ADR's booked last week, including a night out with DH to the Spirit of Aloha Luau on the night of our actual anniversary while the kids go to The Neverland Club. We honeymooned in Tahiti, so this is our next best thing.

Oh, I'm so excited and can't wait!

You totally have to go there!!!! That is always our first lunch or dinner when we are in the area. They have great burgers (tons of toppings to choose from), great sweet potato fries, and awesome milkshakes. I am making myself hungry just thinking about it lol.
If you try it, you will have to let me know what you think!

September 9th till 16th at the French Quarter for us. Be our 2nd time here and 5th in Port Orleans as a whole. Also got the free dining and can't wait

It's my 50th a week after (couldn't get my birthday off work) and my brothers are promising me a big surprise...getting a little worried about their plans but knowing them it will end up a cup cake from the Main Street Bakery

Standard view (I don't mind watching my car. But last time book this view- I ended up with a pool/garden view. Part of the reason I LOVE POR!)

Have 13 in my party with 4 kids that have never been to the world. Should be fun

Booked AB standard view. This will my 2nd time at POR and hopefully we can use the pool. Last time it was too cold

Someone should make a clip art logo(or something) we can print out and tape to our guest room window to show were DISers.
