POR...How important is the view?

We go a free upgrade on our reservation for a pool view but now I'm worried we will be very far from the main building. We will be in Alligator Bayou as we are a family of 5.

Any thoughts - should I send the room request for something other than a pool view when time comes?

I don't remember what requests you can make in advance but you could always try asking for a different building at check in.

Not at all important. We stayed standard room with a view of the parking lot. It was great since we drove and loading and unloading was a breeze.

I'd pay for preferred location before I'd paid for a view. Exception being if you have a RO discount and the standard rooms available are full but you can get a discount if you stay Pool/Garden view.
