POR during Thanksgiving week/weekend--drive or use bus?

Good afternoon! Hubby and I will be staying at POR for five nights starting the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, and the moving to BCV for six nights. We've never stayed at POR bofore, and I'm a little nervous about bus transportation during the busy season. Of course, we aren't pros at driving around either as we generally stay at BCV.

Should we consider driving versus bus service for the busy Thanksgiving holiday?

We've never had problems with POR transporation as we approach it for what it is, public transportation. During the holiday season if you expect to sit and be comfy and not have to occasionally stand or be somewhat crowded I would drive. If you approach it with the attitude of I'm glad I don't have to drive and just enjoy the ride the buses from POR are great. Enjoy your trip.
