POR- Alligator Bayou section- guaranteed?

We are currently booked at POFQ but I am thinking of changing to POR. My mom is coming with us so there will be 3 adults and 1 child. If we switch we definitly want the Alligator Bayou section so we can get the trundle bed or my mom would have to share a bed with my DD. Normally that would not be a problem, but DD7 likes to kick and move around a lot and I would like my mom to be comfortable for 8 nights. Can you get a guarantee that you will be in Alligator Bayou, or is it a crap shoot?

The Alligator Bayou section is in POR (Port Orleans Riverside), not POFQ (French Quarter). They are sister resorts but not the same resort. If you want a trundle you will need to make sure you are booked at Riverside. Sorry I don't know about the bed guarantee tho.

yes, I am aware of that, that is why I posted what I did above, " We are currently booked at POFQ but are thinking of switching to POR to get a trundle bed".

I *think* they reserve those rooms for parties of 5 because those people have to have that trundle room. I don't think they would guarantee it for a party of 4. You can always call and ask if you can specifically reserve that type of room and see what they say.

Sorry, but they will not guarantee an Alligator Bayou room unless you have 5 people in your party. They hold those rooms for families of 5 or more. So if the resort is full you will be out of luck.

The Moderate resorts do have a limited number of roll-away beds. You can always ask for one, but they are first come first served. Or how about getting an aero-bed or air mattress for the 7yr old to sleep on?
