POP's latest&greatest Frig Swap (still have openings)

We will be arriving at POP on June 16 and staying until the 24. We'd love a frig. Please help us out.

You can have it from 6/16 to 6/21. Let me know if that would work for you. (It's possible, depending on when the swapper arriving on the 21st gets there that you might be able to have it until the a.m. of the 22nd-depends on their arrival time)

Great, I will pencil you in. Send my your full name, ressie #, check-in date, and contact # while at WDW by PM Once I receive it I will put you in as confirmed. Then you can contact your 2 swappers to trade info, arrange swap etc. when you get a little closer to your date.

Thanks for the offer of the toaster. It MAY fit inside the fridge. Unfortunately, as of now our toaster and coffee pot are gone. There is a chance one of the next few swappers will be adding a coffee pot. I will post it here when (and if) it happens.

Just a swap ethics question. I am involved in another swap. When I was looking for a swap to join I noticed that some people were signed up and confirmed for more than one swap for the same dates. I know that there are a lot of willing participants who are finding it difficult to find their dates available. Just wondering what someone would want with 2 fridges or what will happen when they only take one and leave the other in storage with their name on it. Does that mess it up for the person after them? Just an observation, not a criticism, just wondering. Your swap is not the only one I noticed this is happening in.

We would love to use the fridge April 26th to April 30th if it's still available. We're not actually arriving until the 27th but my mom will be there on the 26th so I could arrange a direct swap. If there's no toaster added to the swap by that time I plan on picking one up and will add it if you would like.

There are alot of people who have more than 1 room booked for their trips and want more than 1 fridge. I suspect the ones you see double is because of this.

Thanks exactly right. The few swappers on my thread who had more than 1 fridge have also had more than 1 room (sometimes many more). When I've been made aware of the double fridges (either by checking myself, or having it brought to my attention) I have contacted the swapper involved to confirm that they are going to use both, and aren't just covering their bets by reserving 2. As of now, we haven't had a problem with someone having more than 1. The swaps immeadiately after have gone on without a hitch. Currently we have one (that I know of) swapper who is on 2 lists. I've sent her a PM and am waiting for a response confirming that she needs 2. If I don't hear back soon, I will give her slot to the disboarder who brought it to my attention.

There have been a few times when a swapper is on 2 swaps due to the fact that they have forgotten they already joined one . I find this more of a problem with swappers who ask for dates way in advance and forget they've done it.

Hello everyone- We are just back from POP a few hours ago and I just wanted to post that I got the fridge fine from kristenhh (thanks and nice to meet you!) and everything was great with it. I added a toaster that stores inside and a 12 cup coffee pot in a separate box (hope it doesnt get lost!) taped to the main box. I put it in storage for one day for the next swapper so hopefully it wont get lost!!! I will try and post a picture (I'll have to get DH to do that) since Dizneydaz wanted me to get a current picture of the box/fridge on the thread. Thanks again, Dizneydaz for all your hard work. It was so nice to have the fridge.

If so, then you would need to make arrangements with loud-frog to get them the fridge. Depending on when either of them are actually checking out, you might be able to have it for 2 nights. You never know! I'll see if I can help set it up. Keeping it out storage would be wonderful. Everytime it's left there I worry about it.

If you check the list on page 47, you will see that yes, we do most of those dates, open. June 8th to the 16th is available. loud-frog I haven't received sarika's phone number yet so everything is still the same as before. If the change doesn't get made by end of today (1/22) then I'll leave things as is. I will send you a PM and let you know if it's changed sometime Wed. (1/23) Depending on the weather here, I may be going to Disneyland tomorrow (Wed) so I won't be online, much, during the day.
