Is there some merit in giving our Swap a unique name rather than POP Fridge Swap and putting the name on the box and a comment to the effect that this fridge is "For (groupname) Swap organized by DizneyDaz only" to try and minimize the "absconding" of the fridge? Just a thought, maybe this is already done.
As of now (as far as I know) the fridge does have my name and phone number on it with a note that says "if unclaimed, please contact Terri B....." Like I said, this is as far as I know. It was there a few months ago since that's how POP Housekeeping contacted me when they ended up with it. I can't remember if Dizneydaz appears on it. If someone going soon wants to make a new sign for the box with
Dizneydaz prominently on it in large letters, that would be great. Unfortunately, without starting a new thread, we can't change the name since the first post on this thread isn't mine. Back in Aug. 06 when this all got started Brymolmom and I had 2 separate threads going for the same swap. We consolidated on brymolmom's thread which means I can't change the title or the first post. Unfortunately brymolmom has gone on with her life and isn't involved in this swap anymore (who thought it would last almost 1-1/2 yrs.) I could start a new thread but I've been holding off doing that since at some point I know some kind disboarder will offer to take this over and that would be a perfect time to start a new thread.
So, if anyone going soon wants to add something unique to our box, let me know. Also, if you could verify that my name and phone number is still on the box as well as green mickey heads. Oh, I just remembered, that one of the swappers before me last Sept. added a large, white mickey head, with Dizneydaz on it. Who knows, though, if it's still there? If wouldn't hurt to be prepared and bring another one as well as a sign to put
inside the frdige that says something like "
This fridge belongs to Dizneydaz's swap. If you've received this fridge in error, please return to Luggage Services ASAP so their swappers will have it. Thank You" Also, if someone has a Sharpie marker they could put my name, Terri B..., Dizneydaz, and my phone number on the top of the fridge.
As for being prepared, bring paper, marker, and lots of tape. Thanks.

and when I left...there was a fridge in the luggage assistance area with the next person name on it and their arrival date. I did not actually see this fridge, but per the afternoon luggage mgrs (Brady and/or Chase){2 very helpful guys}

I'm not a coffee drinker put having the coffee pot did come in handy for my DM who does drink coffee, and my DS who is a tea drinker. Now, during the colder months, I would have really appreciated the hot water for tea.
Please help us out.
