Do you think that the new fridges being installed at Pop this month will change the way these fridge swaps are done? I think the beverage coolers they're using have no freezer, but get as cold as a regular fridge.

Has anyone seen them at Pop yet?

Hi Squirrel Are you going to continue with your swap now since there are real fridges (no freezer) in the rooms at POP? Is there enough interest in having a freezer to warrant the swaps continuing? My swap is dead right now but due to start up again in early June with a donated fridge (unless my benefactor changes her mind.)

Curious as to your thoughts.

Did you book POP for late Sept/Oct. yet? I did, just hope we can go.

I'm trying to keep it going. I know I use the freezer for water/sports drinks to take frozen to the parks.

I'm doing the Repositioning Cruise from Vancouver to LA and then 4 nights at BWPPI and visiting DL/DCA. We leave for home on the 20th. Hopefully you can meet us at DL/DCA.

Looks like the Fridge Swap and toaster is going to end.

Swappers keep cancelling and nobody seems to want a freezer as I've had no new members since they started installing the fridges at Pop.

Heard from the last swapper who enjoyed having a freezer to bring frozen drinks to the park. Also used the toaster.

I'm sure once the weather continues to warm, people will wish they had signed up for a fridge swap fridge!

I hope we get some more people interested otherwise our fridge will disappear if left in storage too long.

I ended up with a fridge with a freezer in the acceptable room, and they put in the new one too w/o freezer.
What would be a nice addition is a supply box, I know dragging a toaster and coffee pot were a pain. Add to it some paper products, first aid kit, laundry items; kept in a small rubbermaid case." The care package
This would be a great help now.

It will be quite warm in May.

We need swappers to get the fridge out of storage otherwise they will dispose of it. It's hardly being used this month. I hope we can keep it going until the fall at least.

I've sent off a PM to the swapper that might have used it in April. They didn't cancel and I haven't heard from them. Trying to find out what name the fridge is left under.

calgal27, also wants the fridge so hopefully it's still around.

I know once the weather starts to get warm everyone will start remembering how great it was to have frozen water/sports drinks at the park.
