I have not counted yet and to be honest i don't want to know how many days are left until i go!! All is well here, i have to pay back a tour for a guy that worked for me last week, so i have to work a 16 hour shift. I have to be in at 10 am and get off at 2 am, i should be a zombie by this time tomorrow.


I have a dumb, nosey question. I was reading back and saw everyone telling ants to feel better. What i miss, i know i have not seen her post her in a little. Is she sick, or something? Ofcourse only answer if this is any of my business.

So what is doing??

So i'm offical i got my disney confirmation # tonight!! Staying at pop, perferred from 9/28 until 10/07, checking in late on the 28th, and then we are leaving late on the 7th. I'm too excited to sleep!! I really can't wait!!

I love your question. My problem is not so much people "adivising" me but asking me to over extend myself and me being unable to say no. I feel for you though. I hope your situation gets better.

oh, and so far how i have handled it is to get all p-o'ed and eat two cookies totalling 340 calories that I totally did not need!!!!!!!!!!!

It was supposed to be a 12 hour drive but she hit some nasty weather a couple of times and construction.

Okay, so I thought you were crazy wanting to come all this way just to go to Hershey Park, but I realize now there is no way you can do the whole park in a day. I also took a break and went over the Hershey Spa and got a cocoa manicure...I definitely recommend working that into your schedule, but you need to be 13 for the treatments. There's also the crayola factory in easton that I've always wanted to see, but I don't know how far it is from Hershey. You guys are welcome to stay here overnight if you want, but we are 90 minutes from Hershey so it wouldn't be good to keep driving back and forth. Try searching for Hotels in Harrisburg if the Hershey ones are too costly, its right next door.

this is soooo true!!! Each time we look, we realize that once we add it all up, we could drive and stay at a VALUE resort in Disney for less And have loads more fun!

That's how we are with the shore...its cheaper to go to WDW...for us, Hershey cost us $15. $45 with dinner at applebees...so obviously cheaper than WDW.

The American Girl sale today was fun and tiring! Mich we were gone by 9am! (stopping of course at the scrap store in Janesville) I got a Just like Me doll for Grace, and a few outfits, I did buy 9 doll stands for their dolls (still need 6 more!). I also purchased several really good ebay things! We had 7am tickets so I got a few good things...speaking of ebay....

I had 7 things close today and made $80!!!!

6 more things closing tomorrow! for $100!!!!! so week one will NET about $150!!!!!! yippee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tia - hmm, I am sure we can work out a "deal"....decide what kind of book you want to make. Pick out the pictures....and we will chat. Your only cost will be the supplies my dear...I would be honored to help you create something for Terry - in all seriousness, after what he and you and Ry have sacrificed for my freedom, my safety....there is no way in heck i'm gonna make profit money from you! So think about it...You could even maybe bring the pics with you in Sept (providiing of course I actually get to go) and we can spend a few non-Mojito moments talking about it!!!

OMG it's late (well for me) & I'm sleepy...but OMG Hairspray HAS to be the best movie I have seen in ages!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! John Travolta is absolutely amazing! I agreed with Mich that he's yummy a long long time ago (someof us were actually around when Danny Zuko made his first debut! but anyway...what a great movie! When I told Grace that Edna was Danny Zuko she was in shock!

It also provided such a great parenting opportunity! As we're leaving the movie theatre.....she says - "so Mom did you get the point of the movie? was it the music, the dancing or the hairspray?".....how perfect! I told her that nope it wasn't about any of that! It was about how everyone was the same, everyone deserved to be treated equally....etc etc etc....I didn't know it, but there was a woman with her daughter walking behind us in the parking lot - they happened to be black....she tapped me on the shoulder & reinterated to grace what I had said & repeated it to her daighter....it sounds silly, but it was really cool. I mean this is middle white suburbia out here - NOT what I grew up with at all - so I'm afraid sometimes my kids don't get as much about different cultures or even religions as I'd like them to have. ....

I have offically been awake almost a full day(23 hours) I am beat. As a matter of fact, i think i'm seeing things on the screen, like little black spots. It was a crazy off the hook, wild in the air, type of day. We did not stop all day, which was good, made the 16 hour shift end quicker. Btw i did the 3 boro tour today, which means, that i managed to make it on duty with the rig to 3 different boro's. We started the day in brooklyn, then midday got sent to queens to the airport for a run, then after that there was a major job in manhattan and got redeployed to manhattan for a little. I am beat and going to bed, but i had a fun, fun,fun, exciting day at work.

Have fun doing laundry. I need to do some too, I am just not wanting to. I did however go grocery shopping finally which is good. I am back on my diet as of tomorrow so I stocked up on veggies and fruit and that kind of stuff. I am going to try low carb. But I did buy some whole wheat pasta, tortillas, bread etc in case I need a bread fix! I also need to start exercising again. Bleh.
Alright, I am heading out to Target! Then back home to read some more Harry Potter. I am taking is slow because I am sad this is the last book.

I am so glad you enjoyed the movie! I am excited to see it too, but I doubt Ryan would like it so I will have to wait until it is out on DVD.
That is a cool little story you shared! I think you are doing a good job though Chris with what you have to work with. And I totally agree with wanting to teach your kids about diversity, etc. It's important for sure. I like to think I am exposing to Ryan as much as I can so when he is older he is armed with information to make wise decisions! It's hard though.
Have fun cleaning the toy room! I need to do laundry, clean my floors, pick up dog you know what and pull weeds. None of it will probably be completed today! Oh well. That's the way it goes sometimes.

I can't take it slow. I'm up to page 321. I'm totally obsessed when I'm reading the book. Like right now, I think I'm missing some stuff that the trio is doing while I'm posting. I don't think it'll be the end...I know it'll be the end in the series, but Rowling can't just stop writing, and maybe there'll be a spinoff.
