so it was just long "enough" ? I am dying to go again....thinking about dec/jan & thinking about switching to AKL & doing 5 nights instead of 7 at POP. Casey will be in 8th grade next year & taking her out of school for too long makes me nervous.

It really was!

Would I like to have stayed longer? Well, of course I would have - I could be there a year and like to stay longer, but yes. It was enough time.

I think if you went when it was crazy busy, it could be a problem - but it was absolutely perfect for us. One more day (4 nights/5 days) would have been perfect, cuz we did skip AK this trip....

Other than that? No complaints.

Disney wins everytime! I love being on vacation in the summer. Its makes coming home from the trip so much easier. Don't get me wrong, I love to go on vacation in the winter too, its just so depressing to come home to sub-zero weather.

My parents have a place in Boca Raton, and for the past 10 years Dh and I have gone there in July for our wedding annivesary. Its a bit easier to take the heat as they are right on the ocean....Orlando really is hot in July, but that's what afternoon resort breaks are for.

And they made a HUGE deal out of it - they had a DJ playing music until it was time....
