Tia - we miss you - & I am so glad you checked in. You're right, most of us can only imagine what you're feeling and what you & Ryan and Terry are going thru today and for the next year. In some respect, we all have our black clouds that no one else understands, some more extreme than others, but a black cloud all the same. It really is good to share it with people who care and who will listen. I hope you think that too someday.

I know you probably don't want to hear this, but Thank You, thank you for what Terry and you and Ryan are doing for ALL of us. I know everyone will thank Terry and I sure as hell hope they do. But I wanted you & Ryan to know that I apprecaite what you're doing as well.

So we get to the parking lot - and Im playing with my camera trying to figure out which setting to use. And I tell him "I was kidding with (my boss) and told her when she got off the plane I was taking her picture, since she made me get up so early". I didnt know what else to say.

Soooo - I finally got the setting correct. And I handed him the "great smelling plastic sleeve" with the ressie in it. He looked at it, and said "oh cool" non-chalantly...then said, "Only 3 days?" And I asked "do you know what youre looking at?"

"Next years plans?"

"No....look again"

"What is this? Is this..? Wait...is this today?!?! What?"

~~~~~~~~*he was sooooo confused*~~~~~~~~~~~

"We're going to Disneyworld, Danny - me and you, until Sunday"

"Oh my ...What??? .....(so so so so so confused) What about my clothes?"

"I packed them - we're all set and ready to go"

he looks at me dead in the face, and says "Serious?" (like NO playing around)

"Yes....I swear"

And he squeeled with glee - leaned over and hugged me, and I said "Lets go! - leave your coat here...we dont need it"

And we jumped out and we were on our way.

You are all ohhhhhh so cool moms!!! The best one I know.. well next to my mmom of course... Your kids have a lifetime of memories... best memories.... And i am so proud of knowiing you guys.. and that includes YOU PJ being a cool dad!!!

I dont know if I could HANDLE July!!! I'd be a sweaty mess!!!!

I think we're considering a short one in September, and then again this time in January. Danny and me have decided (yes, an 11 y/o and myself ...) have decided that we like the 4 day trips. It gives us a fix. We dont need to be there for 12 days and then not go for up to a year!!! How about twice a year, for 5 days, or 3 times for 4 days?

We like it - and might start doing this, instead.

so it was just long "enough" ? I am dying to go again....thinking about dec/jan & thinking about switching to AKL & doing 5 nights instead of 7 at POP. Casey will be in 8th grade next year & taking her out of school for too long makes me nervous.
