Theme Park Tickets

Definitely compare the cost of discount sites after taxes. I have the target redcard, and find that at places like undercover tourist, the ticket cost may be cheaper but the taxes are higher than the ones directly through Disney, so with 5% off gift cards (and sometimes more combined with other deals) its cheapest to get them directly through Disney. But unlocked magic is new and has incredible deals on some tickets!

I have been comparing actual total cost between buying from Disney, Undercover Tourist, unlocked Magic, AAA, and using discounted gift cards from SAM's Club. I recently purchased 9 Park Hopper tickets from Unlocked Magic and saved around $400. Savings depends on type of ticket as well. Tracking them for a few months showed little variation. I also use Disney Gift Cards for meals. Unless there is a special sale on gift cards (which does happen), the best discount is usually on the $200 card at Sams Club. You can combine them into a $1000 card on the Disney gift card site. I figure anything you save on meals is worth the time to use gift cards.

I will say for longer stays look at the Europe tickets as well to purchase. You can link them in MDE, I didnt find any terms regarding residence, and it worked like any other ticket where you just scan your magic band and you are on your way.

I have an AP now so I am not worrying about tickets but the last time I bought tickets, AAA had the best price for the ticket type I needed. But the difference was like $5 as I recall. There just isn't a huge spread it seems.

The UK tickets are interesting, I'll look into that the next time I need tickets - if family comes with us or what have you.

I generally get a Sorcerer pass. But for other tickets, when taking others with me, they're either retired Military tickets, or discounted from Sam's Club.

Do you know if Unlocked Magic offers any type of refund like Undercover Tourist?
I did get a separate email notification from Disney World Reservation after purchasing through Unlocked Magic. Disney email had same confirmation number and showed Unlocked Magic purchased tickets via Disney on gift card. We paid Unlocked Magic discounted price, they paid Disney full price. Was kinda strange but I verified that we were not charged more.
Unlocked Magic information:
"Important Information: All tickets and options are nontransferable, nonrefundable, and exclude separately priced activities and events. Parks, attractions, and other offerings are subject to availability, closures, and changes without notice or liability. Park admission, experiences, and ticket options are not guaranteed. Disney reserves the right to cancel or modify any offering at any time"
