Yey  am done... I gave out all my gift bags last Dec. 6th and mailed all gift on the 7th... and I only need to mail my xmas cards Friday!!! Tree is up no ornaments... just candy cane and lites... thats it! Now am ready for valentines day!!!

Oh no. I don't really mind the SS thing. That was just my thoughts. I don't intend for anyone to make anything up to anyone. I am fine with how it is. I really was excited with what I had found at Disney and happy thinking that someone else would find it as fun as I did. I know that if my SS gets the gift, it will make her day.

No, that was a feel-better gift. I hope it worked :teeth: . The person I sent something to hasn't posted here in a loooong time. That's fine though. It is just one of those things. I am perfectly okay with how it worked. :thumbsup2

Oh - thats great. Now if you ever get your paws on a sample, I sure as heck wont see it. :p

But it *DOES* smell perfect, doesnt it?!?!? Geez, I love it!!! Dang stingy sales ladies <<<shake fist>>>

And I look forward to reading this thread too. :goodvibes Makes me sad when it slows down! :guilty:

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me this mystery fragrance! I missed lots of pages and wouldn't know where to begin to search for the name of it! I feel so out of the loop!!!!!

I do love that you all are still here! It feels so nice to be able to know that you guys are here! I do hope that we are all able to get to Disney together soon! I love that I can put a face to a name to a few of you.... okay, enough sappy stuff... but I do love to come here as often as I can to see what my "computer friends" are up to!

Thanks PJ for that story about the CO2 detectors. I asked my husband for one for Christmas... funny huh? But, do you know if that problem is more common with gas run boilers? I did not think so, but he thought so.

Thank you all for keeping this thread going! So, I saw that someone is asking if DMM is around, does anyone know???? Did she leave us? I hope not. Pixie dust to you all! :grouphug:

I don't want Christmas to be over. Because that means my hubby leaves for the Middle East. It is all happening too fast and I want to sloooowww time down. I don't even have the big tree up yet. I am waiting til Terry gets here. 2 reasons: my selfish reason is I hate doing all of the work by myself (and yes it will be down before he leaves ;) ) and I want him to be here to take part as he will be gone next Christmas. I am gonna be a mess in January, be prepared!

Hmm, i'm not really sure, but i do know that the co2 comes when the boiler is on and the combustion part goes wacking causing a mass production of co2,every and i mean every boiler throws off a small amount of co2 but the levels are safe, when you have a malfuction it will hrow off 10x-20x and sometimes even more levels of co2.I will look into it for you and for myself cause now i want to know as well.I would imagine that all types beside could cause it.I can't remember what type of boiler the house we were in had,we simply pull the "boiler off" switch to shut it down, until the heating company can fix it.BTW all boilers should have a "shut down" switch to allow you to safely turn off your boiler and most of the times it will not be in the same room as the boiler, but most likey if in a basement it will be right down at the bottom of the steps at eye level, its usally a red box with a switch/lever/knob on it.

ANTSSSSS!!!! I could kiss you! puckerup: I saw it on my step this morning when I went to start my car - guess what Im smelling like today?!?!? :woohoo:

Yay! I thought something smelled good!
I am so glad that everyone is still on this thread, but it seems like alot of people are missing. It is kind of sad :guilty:. I hope they all come back.

Last night was our christmas concert at the school. I am glad it is over. It is just such a big night. Now I can just wait for christmas. Okay, tell me if this is wrong. My DD was invited to a build a bear party on sat. It is for the girl who told her there is no santa. :furious: . Anyway, I want DD to go, but the mom wants to pick up my DD at 9:45 and bring her back at 1. I really do not know these people. I do not want to send her with people I don't know (and with people who let their daughter be :smooth: . I would rather take DD myself and shop nearby. What if something happened? But I bet I will be the only mom who does this. Is it overprotective or just protective?

I'd do what you wanna do - and with it being so close to Christmas? You have a perfect excuse to do so. :thumbsup2 You dont look protective - you look 'busy'. :teeth:

I had a b-day party for my son at KiddieLand: http://www.kiddieland.com/ when he was probably 9-ish. He invited a few friends, and my mom, my ex husband and I drove there.

No other parents came along with their kid - except "Shawn"'s. And Shawns dad was a big dweeb-o. I recall my mom and me laughhhhhing about Shawn's Dad having to come along. Because "Shawn would get frightened without someone he was familiar with, there" :confused3 I dunno... maybe we were being mean, but we did laugh at him, behind his back....and for many birthday parties following it. :joker: I.E. "Remember Shawn's dad had to come along to Kiddieland? LOLOLOL What a dork!"

Geez - one kid, Corey...he even threw up on the Tilt-A-Whirl. My son came running off "Corey threw up!!!!!" And Im thinking, oh no.... we're gonna have to wrap this party up and take the puker home. No-sir-ree-bob - Corey came running off behind him.... PROUDLY stating "I JUST THREW UP!!!" :teeth:

BUT - when it's your own kid... I get it. And you could again - use the "I have to get some shopping done" excuse. :thumbsup2

And NO KIDDING!!!! Where the heck did everyone go? I think there's only like maybe 5 of us left posting???

Man...fair-weather posters. :sad2: Everyone is ALLLLLL chatty when a trip is in the works, aye? ;)

well who said I am not your family!!! I am just glad it got there on time... and my sister did not put my name on it thats why I was a bit :worried: that you might return the package when you dont recognize the return address! Merry Christmas Cat :flower:

Enjoy!!! Maybe next time we can find a bigger one !!! :p

I agree with Cat, you can use the excuse of you are shopping early and have to stop by somewhere else early and nobody will be home with DD to wait till 9:45AM so you will just have to meet up with them. You only get one chance in taking care of your child. Better be safe than sorry ::yes:: as what I always tells my cousin about my nieces and nephew. It is sometimes hard to leave your offspring to a family what more to a stranger! Do what is best for you and your DD. No parent would lead their kid to danger! :teeth:

Go with your gut. If I didn't know the parents well I would probably do the same. You don't have to be AT the party but nothing wrong with being nearby!
