I just noticed that my ticker is at zero!!! We leave in less than 24 hours!!

We just got home from renting the car. We were 45 minutes late getting there & I forgot to bring the Hertz phone # with me so we couldn't call on the way there to tell them we were running late. Anyway, they rented our Ford Escape to someone else...the one I reserved in April!!! And they were completely out of SUVs & Minivans. I was soooooo upset. All they had left that wasn't a car was a Chevy HHR. So, I thought what the heck, that should work. And it was cheaper. It was over $200.00 less! Now, we have an extra $200.00 to spend!!! I love it when something goes wrong only to turn into something great!!

This time tomorrow we'll be in the rental car on the way to WDW!

Good Morning POPpers!!!!

Well, I made my list last night of things to do. Yeah I need another week!!!! Somehow I always find a way to get everything done. Started laying out my clothes and I am doing more laundry right now. When it is done I will start my ironing. Oh boy! After that it is put stuff into the suitcases. I will clean up the house a bit. And wash my sheets and towels too! The main thing for me is packing. All of the other stuff is not as important. But NOBODY needs to see my nakedness at WDW so yeah, packing is a MUST do!
You know I was thinking.... I wonder if Lori and Michelle are totally pulling our legs about the crowds. Maybe faking us out into thinking that it is impossibly busy when it really isn't. Hey a girl can dream right?
Let's see, our plane lands at MCO at 2:06. I think we were one of the last ones to arrive. Get POP ready for us ok?
Timmy, did you still need those pins? I saw someone else respond so I wanted to make sure!
I think that is it for now. We have had 20 reported cases of salmonila (spelling?) in our little town. So I want to put Ryan in a bubble before we leave! Hopefully we stay clear of it. YUCK!

OK, I went out at lunchtime and put the last of my vacation money into the bank (moved from my "secret" account). I almost forgot to do that, and I would have been in a bit of trouble when it came time to pay the balance when I move to the Dolphin!

I also just discovered that the reason I couldn't find my pretty summer sandals is that they are under the bookshelf in my office . I just put them in a bag and put them with my briefcase so I don't have to come back here tomorrow before I leave. Once I'm out the door today, that's it!

Just POPping in at lunch time -- I'm eating my salad at my desk today, since DH had to go to a thing for his class, usually we do lunch together.

I can't believe tomorrow is my last day at work! Our admin assistant for our department is so sweet, she asks me every day how much longer. Now, though, every time she walks by my office, she asks me how many hours! It's driving everyone else in the office nuts, but I think it's funny (and, the worst part is, I can answer her without having to think about it!)

I think we're one of the last to check into POP, since we have to fly into Jacksonville and drive. I wish we were arriving at MCO and could meet some folks, but I don't think there will be many DISers going into Jacksonville! We're hoping to check in around 5pm on the 30th, and we have Raglan Road ressies at 9:30pm that night (so no DIS meet for us).

Okay, phone 'dilemma' resolved.
Next issue: I can check in online for Jet Blue BUT I have to tell them how many bags I'm checking. I can pack everything in one suitcase (yeah!) but what if it turns out I 'need' or even want two? But if I say two, I have to check that many. I suppose I could switch to two rollaboard-size suitcases, and split things between the two in case one goes off on its own little non-Disney vacation....

OK, this is it! I'm shutting down my computer (at least the one here in the office) and heading home to start my vacation. Of course, there'll be no relaxing tonight, still have to finish packing, Jim has physical therapy in the morning, has to stop in the drug store for his meds (they wouldn't renew them one day early , and then we're outta here.

Of course, I still have to check in for email and other stuff during the day tomorrow, and then every day next week, but at least I'll be doing it from someplace fun instead of from my desk!

I may even check in here tonight, if I get a few minutes.

Wow! I'm pretty late on this one. It's been busy around here and this is a last minute trip but we are checking into POP on Sunday the 1st. and leaving on 10/8. Would LOVE to meet up with some of you while there.

Can't wait! Tomorrow is last day of work for over a week.

I love the CD idea! I should be able to post pictures that I've taken each day since I have to work at my computer at least once each evening and once each morning . That's the price I had to pay to be able to get away at this time of year.

Let's see--I already have black capris; my house is clean now; but will be a disaster again by tomorrow morning between cats and DH ; paid the bills yesterday; have all my papers and stuff in order in my computer case (although I may change which computer I bring, so I'll have to remember to repack the papers if I do); only have one pair of Crocs (so far) and they will be on my feet; Jim is at the store right now buying fun stuff like aspirin and bandaids. I think I'm all set!

Our flight lands in Orlando at 12:07, and then I have to make a stop at the Crocs store. Then we'll be heading for ME and Pop!

This is the longest day I've ever had in this office! My boss is already on vacation, and there's just nothing left for me to do. I was just too efficient and finished all my stuff. All I can do is sit here and hope that I don't fall asleep!

I dont bring the video camera anymore....I find when I bring that pLUS my camera I feel crazy! I only have 2 hands!! lol

me too ... I wish I can bring the VC but with all the stuff I love pictures so instead I just make a video out of all the pics...
