Well this is it,i'm leaving real soon and this will be my last post for 11 days. So i will see you all there real soon,behave while i'm gone and take care of each other( I told this to the guys at the fire house,too) To all going soon have a safe trip and have fun!!!!!! Morning Poppers! It's THURSDAY and I leave Saturday morning at 5:40am!!! Found out my ride to the airport is still visiting friends in Floridia - so it looks like I have to drive myself. She did offer to pick the car up on Sunday when she get's home though - hopefully I'll remember to leave the key fob for her at home!
DBF has yet to pack - when I told him we have to leave for the airport at 3:30am he freaked out....Little does he know we really don't have to leave the house until 4:20am - he's the type that will forget something at the house - we have to come back - leave again and realize he forgot something else - repeat a million times! So if I don't tell him 3:30am we wouldn't walk out the door on time!

I have to leave for the airport at 5:15 am on SAturday! Our flight out of Ohare leaves at 7:05. I'm going to pre-check in online and hope to check bags with skycap so I'm hoping 90 minnutes is enough time before flight. I don't think I could get up earlier after the Cheetah concert the night before!!!

I think I'm done....got everything packed....need to pick out a movie or 2 for the girls dvd players...although i'm going to try to convince them to sleep on the plane so we can stay at MK will closing on Saturday night. I don't want Sleepy & Grumpy with me on this trip!

Speaking of the dwarfs....is there anyplace we can meet them all???? dd Casey would love that.

Also...(need to remember to tell Michelle this)....I have the Wishes soundtrack...I bought it last year....do any of you Poppers want a copy??? I'm gonna make a few & bring them with me...I know Michelle had mentioned buying it.

Guess Michelle got her starter problem fixed. I am waiting to here from my mechanic about my transmission, the damage and what we have to do to get me on the road tomorrow "safely" UGH!!!

Boy, our numbers are dwindling! I'm still here, in my office, once again watching my desktop countdown counting down! At least it's zero days

I just found out this morning that one of my co-workers flew down this morning, to stay at Pop! She's not a DIS-er, but if I find here I'll drag her along.

FWIW, I fired Svetlana in 1987. I haven't missed her companionship in the least.

I discovered last night that the swimsuit that I bought for this trip in June is about 3 sizes too big. I'm going to have to go home tonight and dig around for my older one, which I hate, but it will cover what needs to be covered while I'm at the pool Of course, I'm spending the night tomorrow night at a hotel at Jersey Gardens, which is an awesome outlet mall here in New Jersey. Maybe I'll find myself a new swimsuit. It's as good an excuse as any to spend Friday night shopping!

I also told Jim that before we leave Orlando Airport, I have to find the Crocs store and see if they have any in black (so that I can wear them to work). He thought I was crazy until he tried mine on last night. He's looking for a pair now, says it makes his "good" foot feel a whole lot better!

I'll be here all day today, and I'll be online off and on until I leave tomorrow.

I'm here, too. Tired...I didn't sleep well last night. We have high security keys that open a lot of doors on campus that are in my name, but we allow our senior students to use if they're doing work for us. Anyway, one of the keys went missing, and if the university decides that they need to re-key buildings as a result, I am responsible for the full cost. This does not make me happy, as I DO NOT have that kind of money...so I'm worried. Our Asst. Dean is aware of the issue, and is going to talk to the Dean to see what needs to be done. *sigh* The good news is that I know our Asst. Dean really well, so he'll have my back if he possibly can. But I don't know what he can really do, if re-keying is necessary. Why does everything have to blow up right before vacation?

I got most of our toiletries packed last night...had to go out and buy a box of quart-sized baggies so we can take some liquids on the plane...contacts, drops, purell, some listerene breath spray )

DH is going to have a migraine tonight so he can stay home from work. I know, lying is bad, but they won't let him off otherwise, and he literally wouldn't have any sleep for 72 hours if he didn't play sick tonight (he worked last night, has class this morning, a seminar he has to attend for class this afternoon, and then work tonight, class tomorrow morning, work tomorrow night with no breaks for sleep in between!). I'm glad...for his sanity's sake, and because he can help me finish packing!

I realized this morning I needed to charge my camera batteries...I have one in the camera, and then an extra. Wouldn't do to have my battery run out right when I need it (which happened last year and made me cry, because I was about to have my pic with Tarzan at MNSSHP! I was soo disappointed! But -- I saw a pic of someone from this year's party, and the same CM is playing Tarzan this year, so I should be able to get my pic this year! )

Ok, off to get some work done at the office, on my LAST FULL DAY BEFORE VACATION! whoo hoo!

OMG, I forgot to pack my video camera and it's charger! Thanks for mentioning camera batteries, Iwynlea! I also think I forgot AA's for my digital camera! I usually take more than 1,000 pictures with the digital, so I go through lots of batteries.

I thought I was the only one who took that many pictures per trip -- even though I've been there 2-3 times per year, I STILL take a lot of photos every trip! DH even "let" me buy another 512 memory card, just in case I needed it for MNSSHP this trip (didn't hurt that they were on sale for $30!)

I bought my 512 memory card before my cruise last November. I also have my laptop with me, so I download the pictures each day and burn them onto CD's. This way, there are no lost pictures! We should have hundreds of pictures of DIS'ers to post once we're all back home!
