Hi there im staying at the Pop First Time though 22/09/07-06/10/07 any hints or tips about the place

the best tip I can give you from someone who also had the same begginings as you ( the previous trip was our 1st time at PoP ) don't give it much thought when you hear a very bad or a very good feed back! I noticed during our prep time there were alot of UNhappy post for PoP but just like what others here have done we went POP LUCK ! And everything is what we have wanted for! And the best icing of our cake was meeting DISERS, sharign our plans and now talk and share our experiences together...

I swear - if I had a blood pressure cuff attached to my arm during the booking process, I know I was off the charts! Just a nervous wreck.

I kept looking at the dates and the times, and looking again, and looking again - what if I messed it up?!? I kept looking. Finally a co-worked said 'Just BOOK IT!" So, i did...

Then I printed it out and eyeballed it a few times too.

And YES - it's correct dates and times. YAY!

I figure, it's Superbowl weekend, in Miami - what if the flight prices go up? This is -okay- for that time of year.... and it's 4 full days:

Getting into Orlando at 9:47am and leaving Orlando at 7:44pm (getting into Chicago at 9:35pm...not too late, either!). Yay! No stops!! YAY AGAIN!

I have enough time that last day to do a water park AND do my free-mini-golf! Yippee!

Hi scrappinmom!

I'm sorry you are sick. I got home on 10/1 and was sick as a dog with a horrible cold. On the 9th, my throat got worse and worse, and I ended up having strep throat. I am still taking the penicillin for the strep. I hope you feel better much faster than I did. My friend said that Eeyore got me sick because I was petting his nose. Did you pet Eeyore's nose too? Maybe she was right!

I heard that you never received the decorations bag that I left for you! That is sooo annoying, because I waited in the check out line for over 40 minutes on 9/30 so I could specifically give the decorations bag to the person at the check out counter. What is even more disappointing is that I also left you a 2nd bag that held gifts for your girls (a tink tote bag, and a princesses tote bag each filled with various Disney goodies). I had both bags taped up and your real name and check in date clearly marked on each bag. I don't care about the decorations, but it is a shame that your girls never got the gifts I left, they were really cute. Maybe I will try to call POP to see if they ever located the bags. Now I am really hoping that the fridge that I left for the fridge swap made it to the next person because I left that at the same time I left the decorations and gifts.

An open letter to every sick POP'er~

I have a confession to make. I left for WDW with a cold that could kick your cold's butt in a heart-beat.

I got an RX for an anti-biotic in case it got nasty - which I starting on Day 2 of said trip. I also got a refill on said anti-biotic, in case it didnt get better. But my fiance ended up sick too, so we filled it for him.

I hacked, and coughed alllll over POP and WDW, for that matter. Cough here, sniffle there....hack-hack-hack.

On the drive home, after I had been feeling better - I got it again. And worse. COUGH WITH YUCKIES IN IT! BLAH! Cough, hack, cough cough cough. Allll the way home.

My son said he felt bad for who ever got the rental car we had after us. I added 'and our room'. We diabolically laughed.

Now, yesterday - I had to go back to the DR. Still hacking. More anti-biotics. I didnt want to tell him I gave my fiance the refill. Afraid Id be charged with some illegal prescription thing. So i told him I left it at POP.

So, add me to the sickies list. Im afraid I may have started it.

Hi all -
I have been sick Just now getting to check in. I stayed home today and it was the perfect day since it started snowing !! Poor Austin is sick too and has been coughing like a 90 year old man.

Good morning POPpers!
Has anyone started their Christmas shopping yet? I know it is early but I actually got a jump start this year. I have been picking things up for Ryan for the past few months. If I see it on sale I grab it. You can't beat computer games for $5.00! I also just ordered a bunch of DVDs from Columbia House. I actually feel good about getting some of it out of the way. Did anyone see the guy over by Morocco in WS doing Turkish caligraphy (sp?)??? Well it was awesome! I bought several of those for my family and I will get them framed and there ya go, instant gifts! Ryan was shocked at how much I spent, but I look at it this way, I either spend the money now or I spend it later. Either way, gifts had to be bought!
So Ry is back in school so I am going to take advantage of the quiet time! I also ordered a steam cleaner for hard surfaces last night. Hopefully that will get here soon. I am soooo looking forward to deep cleaning with it!
Anyway, I'll hush up for now!

hmm I had dinner for lunch and breakfast for dinner
Lunch was marinated salmon portions with ginger and honey, steamed vegies = corn, baby corn, brocolli and carrots = , and a cup of brown rice and a nice 6 oz of iced 2% milk!

and For Dinner I had a bowl of organic granola oats with a cup of vanilla yogurt and banana , mango slices for dessert and a nice cup of ginger peach decaf tea just like the one the serve at PF Changs Yum!
