Ok, I will come out from behind my curtain...take the glass off of the door where I have been listening in on y'all's conversations and say hello!
I will be staying at POP December 18-22 and this is my first time staying in the resort. We have taken day trips to the Magic Kingdom a few times but I have never been to any of the other parks. This is our first Disney vacation and our first Park hopper deal. Hello to all and I guess I should quit lurking and talk more!

Hangin' there, the best part about it is they found it and they are going to take it out now! Science/technology are pretty good now when it comes to meds. The sooner she goes for her treatment the better. She would need you to be strong for her and we are all here for you! What is that and when was it?

We were all at POP the end of Sept to the beginning of Oct. Michelle started this thread and it has really taken on a life of it's own. We even had meets at the resort where we got together and chatted. It was a ton of fun.

In regards to your SS question. We had a Secret Santa. If I get one more person interested I can match you up with them. We had an exact 10 people sign up.

We are also doing a wine swap for New Year's. I am SURE we will have more swaps in teh fiture because they are sooooo darn fun!

hi all!! I'm relatively new here as well. i've got a reserve on my trip with my TA and we book on Monday!! We're going January 7-12th and staying at Pop. My husband has never been to Disney and I'm so very excited to be the one who gets to introduce him to the "world"

Well, it depends on your flight times. We try to arrive around lunch, see a park and on the last day, see a park and leave in the evening. We have arrived in the afternoon though and just gone to DD. If your flight is later in the day, I say go for another day at disney.

Ok, our flight in arrives at 1:25 pm but since our resort reservation dosen't begin until the 18th we will be visiting my sister in Tampa until Monday morning. We plan to get up Monday morning and drive to Orlando to start our vacation bright and early. I hear check in time isn't until like 3pm so we will leave our luggage at the front desk until then I guess. Now, check out is like 11 is that right? My husbands brother and his family will be arriving on the 19th and staying until the 28th I believe so we "COULD" leave our luggage after check out in their room and enjoy the parks. Does out dining plan end at checkout time or does it last throughout the day of the 22nd? Our flight out leaves at 0830 on the morning of the 23rd.

Hi, amberdansmom. To answer some of your questions, you absolutely can leave your luggage at the hotel before going to the parks for the day, if you arrive in the morning before "official" checkin. You'll go through the line, so they can indicate that you're here, and tell them you want your luggage held and they'll direct you. They'll also give you a phone number to call so that you'll know when your room is ready. You can also do the same thing when you check out -- just have luggage service hold your luggage while you spend your last day in the parks. And yes, check out time is 11am. Also, if you're on the dining plan, all your remaining credits will be good the whole day (until midnight_ on the day you check out.
