We got American for 4 of us including taxes (sorry i'm a bad mom, but this last minute trip, I am carrying Roman as lap child!) at $784 It's was through CheapTickets.com My husband was fooling around on friday at work and he decided to check out dates and that is a GREAt rate to us, so we decided to go for it. I hope Southwest is not any cheaper, because I didn't look! hahaha!
We are driving to the airport and just parking the car in long term parking.

hahahha! My parents are like that, last time when we asked them to take us, they got us a limo We're sneaking away on the fly for this mini trip, so no limo for us this time.

Hi gang,

It's freezing here and real windy. Wind gust up to 55 mph and right now it's like 10 , with the windchill its negative 5.

Whats doing?? So i think it's really offical!! Dw's parents also booked at Cbr for 4 nights the same time as us, so it looks like i'm most likely really going to disney world. I say most likely because if a better deal comes out and i have to play with the dates i will. So far we are going aug 13 to aug 21. I was goona do peferred at Cbr, but Dw's parents do not want to spend the extra money, so i don't think we can since we are requesting a ajoining room with them.

But i figured i ask the pros(thats you guys) If i request perferred but also a connecting room with dw's parents and dw's parents do not do the perferred than there is no chance of getting a perferred room or having them even in the same building, am i right??


I don't mind having them so close, i am one of the few familys on this earth that love my in laws.They are really great people, but not just them, Dw's whole family is the same way. I mean they were really there for me and all. I swear they are like my own parents and do more for us than my own parents do.

When i was really sick with the whole sept 11 thing and out of work and in Icu in the hospital, they really came to our rescue. I think they never left the hospital the whole month i was there and really looked after ds and dw when i could not and even offered to help with the bills and all.

So i was wondering about that resort question, am i right?? Maybe Tink our Little " disney informant" can answer it best, but i do not mind hearing everyones thought on it.

So whats everyone doing up so late??


Timmy- welcome back, i hope you are feeling better and everything is good.Congrats on the new man in your life and make him promise right up front to take you to disney 2x a year and if he agrees and it does not work out, give him my number, i'll marry him to get to go 2x a year.

Hahahahah thanks for the kidn words PJ Well so far it only has been a month of communication and he agreed to meet halfway... every time there is a mention of (kiddingly ofcourse) getting married... he wants it on the beach and my answer is Fine.. Ok vero Beach it is and the last time he did agree for Vero beach!!! I just have to break it to him gently that vaca is in Orlando every year if ever i make an honest man out of him

Rebecca, I still can't see your ticker We have to do a quickie trip because Our trip to Mexico is just insane! haha! Passport prices went up and we only have 2 so far, so 3 more to get. The plane tix were over 400 per person AND we bought Roman a seat. I am regretting that decision! haha
The hotel is ridiculous, so i'm just looking forward to getting there, when we will spend alot less money! hahaha!!!

PJ, If you request preferred and they do not, you will not be placed together, HOWEVER if you are checking in and they say:
"we could not honor your request for connecting rooms because one is preferred and one is not" Would your inlaws then say: "give us preferred"

I dunno. It *is* considered a slower season. You might luck out. Heck - Colleen wasnt even in our "Grand Gathering" and was able to snag a room literally next door to Tia and Lori!!!

It was Me, My g/f Lora, Tia & Lori and Colleen. Figure that one out!!!
