The next few weeks just get crazier here, if that's possible....We've got ice show, band concert, band banquet, dance recitals, graduation, memorial day parades, field days, etc.......crazy!!!

I'm still kinda bummed I can't go back to wdw till March 2009....this will be the first fall in 4 years i'm not there for F&W , and MNSSHP. BUt, I know we want to stay 10 days in March....so I'm trying to be positive.....I still have THREE trips to scrapbook...so I can live thru those for awhile! (Sept 07, March 08 DL, and March 08 WDW)......

March will come like this *snap*. Book it now. It always feels better to me when I have one booked - even if its way off in the distance.

whoa! It looks like I have missed a lot of the going ons around here! YIKES!

Sorry i've been so distant lately, we've been doing a lot of junk with everything lately! Roman, Mexico, Disney you name it! And then something must be in the air, because we've been out all day at an auction bidding on a house! we went just to check out the household stuff and some sewing supplies I wanted, but eneded up bidding on the house! hahahah!! We lost by 7000$ and i'm totally regretting it now! Oh well, it has to be a sign right?! hahaha!!


We're off to Borders now for some coffee and a Mexico guidebook, I can't believe our trip is 2 months away!


We were supposed to park our van at the airport in February when we went to WDW, but we ended up taking a limo, so does anyone know how much the parking lot is there and which one I should use? (O'hare) Our flight is at 5am and International, so we have to be there at 3am! I'm pretty sure we will just drive ourselves.

Remote Lot E is $13 a day - and has a monorailey thing to get to the terminal. And the International Terminal is the 1st stop. In January, this is what I always do.

Tia - you are right....how on earth could thay have gotten 2 offers insuch a short time when it had been sitting there for that long....& they can't NOT take your offere because of the VA financing!!!!! that's crap! Hold onto your guns! They probably saw that you "loved" thehouse, and want to make it even more of an emotional decision for you! This is a BUYERS market - they should be jumping thru hoops for you...not the other way around...
Thanks Chris!!! I think we are going to go ahead with our offer. And I am going to let my agent know if she doesn't understand VA loans and is not willing to fight for us, then we can get another agent.
& Cat - lanlords s*ck period! I'm sorry - like I said above it is a toal buyers market..if you guys can swing a mortgage...now is totally the time to buy a house.

I keep thinking she must have something up her sleeve. These houses around here have been on the market for EVER - I mean, months and months and months. Heck the one across the street was a tear down/build a monster mansion on it - and that one's been up for OVER a year.

Our landlord is a realtor, so maybe - I dunno.... maybe she found a quick out, or something? I dunno. Im just irritated and stressed. And annoyed. And AN ALLERGIC MESS.

Doing all this stuff is making my allergies flare like CRAZY! This stinks.

Morning everyone! Can you believe this weather (for the Chicagoans) OMG! i'm in love! we are outside almost all day!! I told them we had to come in for a bit and now they are mad! haha! Roman is taking a nap.

Here is his update:
Scary. He scratches his ears so bad they bleed Dr. Says the tubes are fine and he could possibly be in the stages of hearing something and he's just scared at how loud it is. We didn't buy it and have seen TWO specialists since. All we got were directions to give him tylenol They all say they don't see anything at all wrong with him except for the failure of the hearing tests. Tubes are fine, no ear infections..etc..

He is teething, so on top of all that he's uncomfortable, but the best news of all?? My little one is CRAWLING!!! That helps him a lot! he loves to crawl around, but he's still quicker rolling, so when he gets tired, he rolls about! I am uploading some photos from this weekend, I will post one!

My other 2 'angels' are doing alright, both talking up storms and getting bigger every day! They are loving their tumble/dance class and i'm already getting scared for next year when Autumn leaves me for pre school! haha! They love to run off to class and while we watch them through the window, they wave at us and then mess up their dancing! hahaha!

Business is going well, I just cleared 400 sales and I can't believe it!

We are going to Aguascalientes, Mexico which is north of Mexico City by a little bits. I'm super excited to get away for these 2 weeks, but at the same time, i'm wondering why on earth this vacation is costing me about 4 weeks in Disney World on the dining plan??? hahaha! Needless to say i'm keeling over from the costs. However the kids passport photos are soo cute they make me laugh

Autumn is 3, she turned 3 in January. I am getting a bit aggravated though as my kids are going to go to the Catholic School right here in the neighborhood, but they are possibly doing away with next years pre school program as they don't get enough enrollment for that grade I don't know what to do now...argg...

My mom is trying to teach me how to sew - LOL !! It is a complete joke ! Oh my goodness - it made me appreciate shopping *so* much more ! But, I did make some awfully cute Epcot shirts for my kids ! They match - I thought about you Cat when I was making them !!

I was thinking about Roman this morning too. Maybe the itching is just because there are tubes in his ears. (Duh!) My ears itch when there's the littlest bit of wax. I hope you can get some answers soon.

Cat--I'm visualizing. I can totally see you and Jimmy sitting on lawn chairs in front sipping a beer, while Danny washes your car in the driveway.

So, my NY trip has gotten more interesting. The maid of honor just sent me the reservation since I'll be getting there first. She said she only told them 2 people would be staying there in case they charged us more. Ugh, that's what I was worried about. Most of the rooms at the Millennium are only MADE for 2 people. They either have 2 twins or one king. So besides the guilt factor at lying about the room contents (Yes, PJ--fire hazard), one of us will have to sleep on the floor! Maybe I should just cut my losses and stay home, but still donate my $250 for the room to the cause. I think my train ticket is applicable to a future fare within a year.

Just a rental. But it's ridiculously cute in person. The pic isnt doing it justice. Its a little brick guy, with a big front yard, with a light post at the end of the driveway. In the back there a big gorgeous Magnolia Tree.

YES - we are staying in Downers. Which is KILLLLLLING me with rent. OUCH! Heck, if I wanted to pay 1600 / 1800 / 2000 / a month - no problem!!! I can move tomorrow.

That house there is more then we're paying now, but totally in my range.

Weird situation! I guess the floor would not be bad if you could get an air mattress. But that depends on the room size too.

I actually prefer concrete. I dont like grass. And apprently never have. My mom said when I was a baby - she didnt have to watch me when we'd go to the park. She could plop me on a blanket and I would crawl to the edge put my hand on the grass and make a face - crawl to the other side - put a hand down, make a face. I didnt like grass!!! She would try to set me in the grass in little rompers, and as soon as my toes touched it, I kept lifting my legs up higher, and higher, and higher.

I still dont like grass. I 'd prefer a concrete yard. I lay out in the driveway..

And FORGET MojitooOOOooOOOoo's!!! Theyve left a bad taste in my mouth.
