OMG!!!! I am buying one for each day of the week!!!! :thumbsup2 :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: :yay: :woohoo:

OK, so I'm kidding, but MAN that is SO ME!!!!!! I HAVE TO RUN OUT TONIGHT TO GET ONE!!!!

The closest Disney store to me closed... wanna know why? (ok.... then keep reading... but if you don't... end here;) ) OK, so they are filming a movie in our local mall. (It is a Happy Madison production, starring Kevin James... so when you see it, that was the mall closest to me.) Anyways.... the Disney Store was SHUT DOWN FOREVER because the movie cast/crew wanted THAT space for their catering area!!!!!! Can you believe it? The employees were given two weeks notice, and the entire store went on clearance, and whalah.. no more DS!!!! (ok, so it stinks for me now, but I did go for the last two days they were in business and scooped up lots of stuff at 70% off!!!!) As far as the employees were told, they won't be coming back to that mall. It really stinks because it was a DS that took up two storefronts, it was huge! We have two other ones within like 45 minutes, but they are much smaller.

LORI-congratulations on deciding on LASIK! I'm sure you will love it! Everyone I know that has had it done considers it a MIRACLE!

Hi gang,

I can't get epcot's le ceiller for my trip, i was told the place is booked solid for lunch or dinner for the whole month of aug and sept. I had the poor disney dinning lady check every day of my trip for lunch and dinner. No, good the place is booked solid. So far i have scored with the,
garden grill,
tonys,
tutto italian,
and a few others i can't remember right now.

PJ, Le Cellier will be hard, but not impossible. My parents are going the same time as you and scored a lunch no problem just a couple weeks ago. So just keep calling and trying.

Lori--I know I've seen your kids pics before...but they have the most beautiful eyes!!!

Hi everyone!
So we went to Tucson yesterday to find a house! And we did!!! It was perfect for us so we made an offer. Filled out the paperwork gave an earnest deposit, etc. Get half way back to SV and get a call that there is a full price offer on the table that was made last week!!! No, I don't know what to do because this is th bestest (hah bad grammar I know house! It is sooooo frustrating. I actually prayed last night that the other offer would fall through. Aren't I horrible? I am petty bummed out today and sleeping was so difficult! I thought this morning I would wake up and have all of the answers. :sad2:
Anyway.... my brother came into town yesterdy to surprise my Mom so he is coming down to my house today to surprise Ryan. So time for me to clean up the house a bit.
Have a good morning everyone!!!

If there was a full price offer, offered - why is the house still being offered?

Things have a way of working themselves out. At least thats wat Im telling myself as our landlord - who WASNT going to sell just last month, has decided to sell, this month.

BLAH!

I pray that offer falls through, and I pray she never sells this house - but Im still moving. ;)

Awww man ! It was a cute house too ! I hope the offer does fall through - I don't think it is mean at all ! Why are they still letting people see it if there was already an offer and didn't let the realtor know ? Are they trying to play head games with you ?! It'll all work out and I know you'll get the best house ever !

So, I went to the DS last night to "just buy the shirt", and had DH grab a table at Bertucci's... well $110 later, I arrived at the table...LOL!!!! They had cute stuff on clearance for Sarah and her room, and it was take 40 percent off the clearance price, so how could I say no?????

Sometimes, when people make an offer, and it is accepted, the seller can still have the house on the market as "showing for backup". I can't believe how mean that was not to have let you know that up front!!!!! The realtor should have disclosed that information if they had it!!!! In today's housing market and in response to the tightening mortgage lending market, sellers don't want to take the house off the market until the buyer has the mortgage in hand. Anything could go wrong... they could back out if they don't like something at the home inspection, they may not qualify for the mtg. they just may change their mind before any more money changes hands... hell, they could get laid off next week and not be able to buy it!!!! Look, I'm giving you lots of scenarios to pray for!!!!!;) Hope one of those happens for you! Deals fall through all the time... and remember... God knows best, and everything happens for a reason! Go with it, and good luck!:cloud9:

Join the club. Jim and I tossed around the idea of just buying so we dont have to move again (for at least a WHILE!!!) But you know what? We have no - and I mean NO idea where to start, what to do - none. It feels too overwhelming. :guilty: And especially too overwhelming to do in 2 months. I wish she would have been truthfull last month. Or maybe she did just change her mind? I dunno...she seemed so confident last month that she wasnt selling - the month before was "Ill let you know" - last month was "Nope, we're not selling' and this month was - you got until June 30th. BLAH!

Heck - she's getting $1250 / month from us. I cant believe she'd rather sell it??? I dunno....

So today I called my g/f at the salon - and said 'do you really need me?' - and am packing, and going through stuff. YUCK! I HATE DOING THIS!!! I HATE PACKING, MOVING, CLEANING, ORGANIZING!!! You spend 2 hours in a chunk of a room, look around and realize how MUCH MORE YOU HAVE TO DO!!!

Did you notice the CAPS AND uncaps? Thats how stressed I am.

Lord only knows. I have literally made myself sick about this today. I had a good talk with my Mom and Brad though and I think we have a plan of attack. The other thing is we get to take advantage of a VA loan. One of the only benefits that are worth getting  and from what our agent told us most sellers don't want to deal with VA because it involves a bit more work. But you know what, my husband earned that flipping benefit so we should not feel bad about taking advantage of it!
Have you found a house yet???

I did some research. (thank goodness for google!!) And I rea that often times this is a seller's tactic to see if they can get an offer for over the asking price. Something is weird. The house has been on the market almost a year and within a few days there are offers coming in. I know it will work out, but it is so emotional and stressful. So keep picturing a cute little yellow house in my future please!!!

It's like my famous $100 laundry soap at Target. I go in for soap and walk out with much more than that!!! ;) But I agree, it was a gonag deal that could NOT be passed up.

 Thanks!!! You are right. A million things could happen. We may leave our offer on the table and see what happens. This whole home buying thing is nuts. American dream? More like an Ameican pain in the behind!!!

It is overwhelming. But it can be done. Terry and I are trying to do it in about a month. Best place to start is with a mortgage broker. Get you pre-qualified and see what you can afford. Then start doing reseearch on-line to see wha your money can get you. Terry and I know this is not our forever house. This is our for now home. Your situation sucks!!! Why can't people just be up front and honest. Really, I don't get it.
Heck - she's getting $1250 / month from us. I cant believe she'd rather sell it??? I dunno....
That is a lot of money!!! Our mortgage will be less than that, which is why we are wanting to buy. We looked at rentals and it was just out of our price range.

I know you are stressed and I feel your pain! Isn't it amazing how much crapola you can collect ove time? I am dreading going through eerything! :sad2:

eek guys, buying a house IS stressful!!!! It's ranks right up there with divorce, death, and a new baby! Seriously!

Tia - you are right....how on earth could thay have gotten 2 offers insuch a short time when it had been sitting there for that long....& they can't NOT take your offere because of the VA financing!!!!! that's crap! Hold onto your guns! They probably saw that you "loved" thehouse, and want to make it even more of an emotional decision for you! This is a BUYERS market - they should be jumping thru hoops for you...not the other way around...

& Cat - lanlords s*ck period! I'm sorry - like I said above it is a toal buyers market..if you guys can swing a mortgage...now is totally the time to buy a house.

The next few weeks just get crazier here, if that's possible....We've got ice show, band concert, band banquet, dance recitals, graduation, memorial day parades, field days, etc.......crazy!!!

I'm still kinda bummed I can't go back to wdw till March 2009....this will be the first fall in 4 years i'm not there for F&W , and MNSSHP. BUt, I know we want to stay 10 days in March....so I'm trying to be positive.....I still have THREE trips to scrapbook...so I can live thru those for awhile! (Sept 07, March 08 DL, and March 08 WDW)......

I keep thinking she must have something up her sleeve. These houses around here have been on the market for EVER - I mean, months and months and months. Heck the one across the street was a tear down/build a monster mansion on it - and that one's been up for OVER a year. :confused3

Our landlord is a realtor, so maybe - I dunno.... maybe she found a quick out, or something? I dunno. Im just irritated and stressed. And annoyed. And AN ALLERGIC MESS.

Doing all this stuff is making my allergies flare like CRAZY! This stinks.
